"We have all waited for this moment. Even you have waited, but you never knew what to wait for. You will have the chance to show this world what you are made of. But you must be ready and willing to do it. Wake up, chosen one. Help us bring light back to this world once again."

A young and beautiful girl would hear this phrase in her sleep all the time, so much that she remembered every single word of it. She had ignored it as much as she could, but she got to a point where she could not stand it anymore. She got up from her bed and went out for a walk. As she went away from home, she tried to understand why she heard this. But as soon as she did, she heard it again.

She got mad and started running even further away. She ran and ran with no direction, and while she did she saw something pretty peculiar. She was able to catch a glimpse of a silhouette of an old lady. She stopped running and decided to check it out. At this point, she just wanted to get the words off her head, and she would do anything to distract herself. When she approached, the old lady looked at the girl and smiled.

"So you finally decided to arrive..." Said the old lady. "There is no need to introduce myself, for you will discover it later on. I know, it's a bit annoying to be a chosen one and not know anything about it. But now that you are here, your journey to discover your objective can finally begin. And so I ask you, young girl. Are you ready to bring light back to this world?"

The girl didn't say a single word. She just nodded in agreement and waited for the moment to come. She knew something was going to happen, but she didn't know when or how it would occur.

"It seems that you are waiting for it, aren't you? Well then, close your eyes" Said the lady while she chuckled.

She did as the woman said, and so she got sent to another world. She lost consciousness in the process, but when she woke up she remembered what had happened. She took a look around her and saw she was in a small island. She also felt a weight on her back, so she tried to take it off. When she eventually did, she had a candle in her hands that burned bright. It seemed to be pretty important, so she kept it with her.

She walked around the place and realized it was beautiful. The sea was crystal clear and animals shined with an interesting yet special glow. But while she explored, she found something else. There was a boy crawling his way through the field. The girl got worried and sprinted to the boy. When she saw him, he was wearing a mask. She took a good look at it, but then she remembered the boy was injured and focused on trying to make him recover.

"Please, help me..." Said the boy with the little force he had left. "Take your candle and shine its light close to me. It's the only way..."

The girl did not reply in words, but in actions. She took the candle and got it close to the boy. The candle's flame shined brighter than before, causing the boy to shine too. Before the girl could notice, the boy was up and full of energy.

"Oh, thank you! I thought I was going to die there for a second... I really owe you a big one!" Said the boy as he hugged the girl.

"My name's Eli. What is yours?" He asked, but there was no reply.

"Oh, it's ok to be shy! Don't worry if you don't want to tell me now, but you do seem to be new around here. Is this your first time here?" Eli asked.

The girl nodded up and down, making Eli get a little shocked. He tried to explain everything, but night was approaching. The young boy decided to take the girl to a place where they could spend the night. This place was an edge of the island they were at, right beside the sea. They both sat down, and looked at the stars.

"It's just beautiful isn't it? I wish all nights were as pretty as this one." Said Eli.

There was a long silence after this as they stared up into the sky, when suddenly an angelical voice broke it.

"My name is Skye. Thanks for taking me here." Said the girl with a smirk.

Eli smiled and got up from the floor. He looked at Skye as he took a candle similar to hers and placed it in front of him.

"You sure are special, I can feel it. Please, let me join you in your journey! I feel like we could make a great team together. We just need to try, don't you think?" Said Eli.

The girl smiled even more than before and touched Eli's candle. The flame grew and made its way into Skye's soul. She felt a warmth in her heart and a strange feeling in her whole body. When she looked at herself, she was covered by a strange looking cape. As much as she tried to deny it, she really liked the way it looked on her.

"This is what I like to call a cape of Light. You will be able to do lots of things with it, but you will have to release its power as time passes. Now that you have that, allow me to guide you to the true beginning of your journey!" Said Eli as he held Skye's hand
