As they flew threw the clouds, Skye remembered the dream she had a few nights ago. Something about her surroundings didn't feel right, but she just let it slide for now. They eventually reached the end of the clouds, and they found themselves in front of a shrine. They stared at it wondering why there was such an important thing in such a weird place. Skye had a bad feeling about it, and so did Eli. They walked away from it, and when they did, they didn't expect such a horrible thing to happen. The shrine suddenly summoned a storm, catching both of them off guard.

"Eli! What is this!? What is happening!?"

"I have no idea! Whatever you do, don't let go from me!"

He held Skye with all his might as they both got blown away by the storm. Skye screamed in fear, but Eli tried to focus on keeping her safe. Nothing else mattered to him more than that right now. They got flung from one side to another, eventually falling into the eye of the storm. It was an eye like no other, one that would send them to another place without their consent. They very harshly crashed into ground, with Eli falling on the bottom.

They were both hurt, so much that Eli could barely stand up while still holding Skye. He limped his way to the closest wall he could find, sat down and looked at his beloved friend. She was even more injured than Eli was; her cape had broken at a certain moment none of them could think about. Skye looked up and saw a horrible thing. She could see a beast at the distance along with a dark fog around it. When she least tried to think about it, she remembered the nightmare again. She just couldn't take it anymore.

"Eli... Be careful out here..."

She closed her eyes and instantly lost consciousness. Eli was shocked. He just kept asking himself, why all of this was happening. What have they gotten their selves into? While he did, he could see someone approaching. Hoping it was someone that could help, he let the silhouette get closer. It wasn't help, but the great old lady they had both encountered before. He looked at her with a look of anger and let his rage out.

"I still don't know who you are, but I need answers! Why did she have to get hurt?! Why couldn't it have been me?! What am I supposed to do when I'm lost in this place!?" Screamed Eli as he broke into tears.

"I can understand your anger, but you need to listen to me, young Eli."

"What is it that I need to hear now? Everything is lost..."

"It will be if you don't focus, chosen one. A challenge has been set upon you."

"A challenge? What type of challenge is this supposed to be!?"

"It will be a journey that will test your resolve and your loyalty. If you are successful, you will sure like the reward waiting for you at the end."

"I don't care about any rewards! I just want Skye to be safe! That's everything I'm asking for..."

"You better hurry then. Time is running out. May the Light be by your side..."

She faded away and left Eli with Skye in his arms once again. He was determined to do anything just to get out of that place. But most importantly, to take care of her. He took his candle and lit his own cape up. He had regained power, and so he stood up while carrying Skye and started to find a way out. Eli hadn't noticed the beast in the sky just yet. He was just aware of danger being anywhere at this point, but he never saw the origin of it.

As he made his way through a pool of sand, he started to think about what this place could have been. Perhaps a temple? Maybe an ancient town? Or maybe even an antique and giant monument? He thought about it for a while, and he eventually found the answer. He found himself in what looked like the entrance to a synagogue, proving that this place was a temple like no other. All of the walls had crumbled into pieces, but the main arch never even suffered a scratch. Eli didn't really notice this, though. His mind was thinking about something else: keeping Skye and himself safe. He went through the arch and noticed something at the far away. It seemed to be like the end of the road, with unlit candles lying around a weird looking statue. He felt a bit of relief at seeing this, but he immediately lost it when he heard a terrifying growl near him. He looked up to try and figure out where it came from, and there it was.
