Chapter 1: First Days of School

Once in a faraway land there was a peaceful land called "Quill Corner." Lived the Quills. They were mashups of humans and animals. They had normal lives just like humans but all learned how to do magic at a young age. They used it in their daily lives and some weren't as good as others. We start our story with a young 'Unicorn' that is the first stage of 'High School' as we say on earth. Unicorns, Phoenixes, Ogres and Dragons. 'Quill Corner' has 3 schools, Hydrenix High, Chimarea School and the most successful, Manticore Growl High. The school that most Quills went to, we will focus on a city called 'Mython' in which all people living there were either a Leona, a half lion which were hiding on Earth for a while until they went to Quill Corners, A werewolf the half wolves that used to live on Earth hunting for food and were passed on as myths on Earth or a Kythira, originated on earth named after a Greek island on Earth. student her name is Lillian and she had the ears and tail of a lion. She was made fun of since her growl was soft and timid. She still loves to chat and she is considered annoying to people but she brushes it off. The 14 year old lived with her protective mother and her father has been missing for a long time. We start on a Monday morning, she woke up and stretched she clapped her hands twice and her jar of pixies lit up she didn't bother turning on the lights since she would go to her new school soon. She quickly took a shower in healing water and she quickly changed into her uniform. She opened the window and inhaled, the breeze blew through her short brown hair as she looked around the beautiful city, she glanced pass her old school, Hydrenix High and then saw her new school. She saw the huge building and it was a little menacing since it was so much bigger than old Hydrenix High. She smiled at her old school and closed the window she looked at her gold frame mirror and fixed up her purple bow. She grinned at the mirror, and made sure that everything on her uniform looks great. Lillian brushed her yellow ears and tail. She rushed down the stairs, almost tripping, to her mother who was preparing two pixie dust sandwiches one for her breakfast and one for lunch. "Hey Mom!" Lillian greeted excitedly. "Hello Honey, Gemini is waiting for you outside here's a few pieces of ham for the poor girl she could get hungry." Worried Mom, she clearly was worried about her unicorn year. "Oh, don't worry Mom I got this!" Exclaimed Lillian eating her sandwich hastily. The clock in the middle of the city chimed and that was a sign everyone was to go to school. She quickly took her other pixie dust sandwich and she put her bags on the hook of Gemini's saddle she hopped on Gemini, her purple dragon. "Hiya!" She yelled, the dragon huffed and flew off to school. She saw many people riding on unicorns as well, Gemini has been her dragon ever since she was in preschool. Lillian loved her dragon and she always groomed her after school, Gemini was an amethyst dragon and they tend to be loyal. That's why Lillian never thought about letting go her dragon. She watched as everyone fly through the skies with their dragons. Gemini clearly also saw this she went faster and faster. Gemini started to get playful she spun and played in the bright blue sky. Lillian smiled as her tail playfully rode the breeze. The mighty dragon landed at the creature lot and she took the bag off Gemini's hook. She dug through her bag and found Gemini's snack pack. "Here you go Gemini, make sure to save your food okay? I can't come running back to the creature lot." Explained Lillian hugging Gemini. Gemini let out a timid growl and she sat down. "Good girl, I need to head to homeroom bye Gemini!" Lillian exclaimed, Lillian strolled over to the main building she reached the tall doors and looked up at the 10 floor school. She gulped and went inside barely being able to open the heavy doors. She watched as everyone passed through the hall and she heard the very loud chatter. She went through a door she saw at the right of her and she saw a telescope and a huge picture of many stars, they looked like constellations. There were a few desks and chairs facing the picture, she also saw a Kythira straightening the chairs and desks. Lillian went behind the woman, "Um... excuse me Ma'am?" She asked the woman,
