Birthday (End Of the Prologue: Part 2)

Ryan's POV

The school bell has finally ringed, signaling the end of the lessons for today and I decided to wait for my siblings to finish packing their stuff, so we can leave the school. As soon as we got away from the school's front door, I heard a second voice in my mind.

Sage : "Three familiar presences are on way towards you and the others. Stay sharp"

Me : " *Telepathically speaking : " Thanks for the notification. Do you know anything more? ", I asked him telepathically, because I don't know what he meant by saying familiar and on que I see the presences that he sensed.

Yang : " *sighs* Ryan, we have company. A pretty nasty one. "

Me :" I know about it sis. *turns his head slowly to their direction, glaring daggers at them *. I thought that by the scare I gave you before, you could learn your place and NEVER dare to come close to me or my siblings. Cayden. ", I hissed at them referencing mostly to Cayden, because he was the one that mainly bullied my siblings.

Cayden : " *he looked wide eyed at Ryan, whose glare is sending millions of shivers down his spine * R-Ryan, l-look I a-am S-sor-sorry about b-bullying your S-siblings over the years. S-so what d-do you t-think *extents his hand to Ryan *, to live a-all of t-the bad things to t-the past. ", he said to me nervously smiling out of fear that I would get mad at him again, so I decided to test him out and see if he was honest with me.

Me : " *telepathically speaking : "Sage, can you do me a favor and sense the honesty of his intentions?", I say to my brother so I can find out if he is lying or not.

Sage : "Let's give it a shot *starts to figure out Cayden's intentions by sensing the flow of his aura * That's interesting indeed, his intention are pure, * grins * but you should try to hold him in check. In case he tries to pull off something against you or them later on. "

Me : " *speaks telepathically : I see, thank you for the information, brother. ", I mentally smile to my twin brother's help and I grab Cayden's hand in a firm grip.

Me : " *smirks triumphantly *It seems like that you have finally decided to amend for the foolishness that you committed towards me and my siblings, but *starts to apply a small amount of pressure to Cayden's hand as his face turns from carefree to a more serious one, locking eyes with him, as he sees Cayden wincing from the growing (no pun intention) pain* if I see you trying to fool me and start bullying them again. *leans towards Cayden's ear, because he was getting a bit bigger than him in order to intimidate him and whispers * I won't hesitate to break my word and REALLY make you my next meal. Am I understood?, if I am then nod", I said to him having a smaller, but faintly heard ominous, almost demonic echo in my calm voice. (A/n: Both Sage and Ryan are in control in that moment)

Ruby's POV

We see that our elder brother, is speaking to him and it seems that he had told him something very scary, because we see that Cayden is nodding frantically.

Ryan : "Seems that we are understood, now of with you."

As soon as he released his grip on his (Cayden's) hand and said that we saw that Cayden run as if his life depended on it.

Ryan : " *chuckles to himself * Now that this is over, let's head home. Shall we?", he said as we headed to the outskirts of the city.
