|Iroha's POV|
Why does everything feel so repetitive? Alright that's a bad choice of words.... Ok, let me rephrase that. Something's off, but what..? Is something missing? Is someone missing? What's going on??
I sighed to myself before leaving my bedroom and making breakfast for myself.
"The record stays on loop, never continuing again... only on loop..." I muttered before grabbing some strawberry syrup to put on the waffle before eating. "Thank you for the food..." I started to eat then soon took my antidepressant and changed into some clothes before leaving for school.
Of course... it's hot today... Whatever.
Before I knew it, I was at school in the library.
"Iroha-chan!" Tsuruno sang before I looked up and smiled. "Hi Tsuruno-san," I greeted before she sat on the table that I was sitting at and dangled her legs. "We're missing someone..." She sighed as I nodded. "Who though?"
Both of us looked around the library before sighing heavily to ourselves. Surprisingly, not attracting a single glance to us.
"Morning..!" Mifuyu-san smiled in a stretch while we waved and smiled back. "Hey, where's Yachan?"
"That's who's missing!" Tsuruno and I exclaimed simultaneously while Mifuyu nodded with a confused expression, "Yes..."
THAT'S WHO'S MISSING! AM I THAT MUCH OF AN IDIOT TO NOT NOTICE?! MY OWN GIRLFRIEND FOR THAT MATTER. God...
"Where is she?" I asked while Mifuyu sighed, "She's probably sick..." "Sick? What'd she catch? A bug? A cold? Sore throat?" "You should be a nurse Tsuruno-san..." I sighed while she smiled, "That's actually what I plan to do! Anyway, she's not here from being sick." Mifuyu nodded before all three of us sighed simultaneously. "That's why everything felt so dull..." Tsuruno sighed while I nodded.
Attention Teachers and Students, it's time to evacuate.
"Evacuate? Evacuate for what?" I questioned while the other two shrugged as Momoko waved to call us over. "Hey! Over here!" She exclaimed while we ran, "What's going on?!" I asked completely confused while Momoko sighed, "You three didn't know? There's a fire." "Fire?!" Tsuruno exclaimed then looked back. "Oh..." "RUN!" I shouted before the flames started to grow higher while we ran out he school.
We watched the school start to fill with smoke before a window broke and started to burn. This school... it's fine I guess. I didn't really enjoy the people here... yet there were memories here... multiple ones. Luckily, those can't be burnt.
"It's all gone..." Tsuruno whispered as Mifuyu nodded. "This place won't be opened up again for a while..." "I hated this place anyways." Rena sighed while I stayed silent. "It's weird that we all came here just to study for entrance exams, but the school ends up burning to the ground..." Kaede muttered while Rena teased, "I will say though, Mifuyu. That's the fastest I've ever seen you run without complaining." "My life was at stake!" Mifuyu said in a tone mixed of shocked and offense. "So when your life is at stake, you'll run for the hills." Rena snarked while I continued to stay silent.
"Iroha-chan?"
"A-Ah, yes?" "Thank God... you weren't saying anything, we thought you spaced out." Rena sighed while I shook my head, "No... just thinking. I should head home though, the smoke is making my head hurt." The others nodded before I waved goodbye and left.
How is she going to react to our school burning down..?
What is she going to think about it..?
