A Small Misunderstanding

~Iroha's POV~

Click.

"Yes? Yawn..."

"Sana! Yachiyo and Kiana are missing! They're not at home and Yachiyo isn't answering her phone!" I exclaimed in panic as Sana sighed. "Okay, don't panic. That would just make everything worse. Would it best to call everyone else?"

"Yes. Let's meet up at the café down maple." I explained as she hummed in agreement and hung up.

"Don't panic. That would just make everything worse."

Sana's words ran throughout my mind, just like Ui used to tell me.

A sigh escaped my lips as I got in my car and drove not realizing that everyone was already waiting for me.

"Sorry, I'm late!" I sighed with a frown as Yume shook her head, "It's fine. Some live closer than others." She replied before looking behind her.

"Don't worry, these are Oka-san's and Mama's friends! They won't hurt you," She said softly as I and Sana tilted our heads. "Oh yeah! You guys don't know!" Felicia said with her natural toothy grin as Sana and I looked more confused than before.

"Umm... please explain," Sana said softly as a small figure appeared from behind Tsuruno.

"This is Ren-chan!" The brunette smiled as Sana looked as if she was going to drown in cuteness, "She's adorable!"

"Wait, how did?"

"They adopted her," Felicia smiled as I nodded in understanding.

I watched Ren hold her bunny plush tightly before she went behind her mothers again, but she peeked her head out from Tsuruno's leg.

She's shy...

"Well with news out of the way, you said you didn't see them?" Felicia asked as I nodded, "I woke up and they weren't there... I don't know where they are..." I flopped my head on the table with my arms supporting my head.

"Don't panic. That would just make everything worse."

It's basically a mantra now, I exhaled deeply before hearing the bell to the door ring.

"Where'd you go?" Felicia asked as the voice responded, "I had a lot of things to do, but I dropped her off at my mother's house before heading to work and running errands." My head immediately perked back up as I smiled through tears.

"Iroha thought you both got kidnapped or something..." Tsuruno sighed as Yachiyo shrugged. "It doesn't surprise me. She's just worried about everything." "Hey!" I spat as Yume shrugged. "It's true," "Hey!" I spat again as Sana patted my back.

"Wait, did you bring the note, Felicia?" Tsuruno asked as the blonde nodded, yet suspicion and worry started to rise in my veins.

"What does the note say?" I asked in a serious tone as Felicia cleared her throat.

"You're running out of time."

"T-That's it?" Sana questioned as Yume bit her lip. That means something's wrong.

"Yume?" Yachiyo and I said as she sighed. "...They're probably talking about my illness." Tsuruno's eyes widened as she turned towards Yume, "You said you had more time though!" Yume covered Ren's ears as she sighed. "Remember, I said probably. Besides, I haven't felt like... that, in a while. Also, the probability of that is pretty low." "You're running out of time can mean a lot of things! Both health-wise and normally!" Tsuruno rebutted as Sana stammered.
