I don't know really. I think that the group had multiple good or closer friendships. For example, stan and Richie. Stan and Richie were said to be friends before the group was a group. And Richie was the only one that went to stans bar mitzvah. And Eddie and Richie. Even though they constantly bickered, at the end of chapter 2 you can see that Richie and Eddie truly cared and wanted to protect eachother. Those would be the best ones in my opinion.
