The Talk

It's another short one!!!! *crickets* No one? Okay........ENJOY!!!!

[Marinette POV]

I impatiently tapped my foot. I kept glancing at the time.

When did Mama and Papa say that Madison was coming? I couldn't remember.

I tried to focus on my notes, but my mind kept going back to what Madison told me two days ago.

*Flashback*

I was sitting on Madison's hospital bed. It was just us.

"What did you want to talk to me about?" I asked her.

"I honestly hoped that I would have to tell you this," Madison told me. I looked at her quizzically. "You can come out, Grayy!"

A tiny wolf-like creature flew out from under Madison's blanket. It was gray with a white belly. It had a tail with a white tip, two fluffy gray ears, gray fluff around its neck, and one whisker on each cheek. Its big brown eyes stared at me.

"Hi, Marinette! I'm so happy to finally meet you!" the little creature exclaimed happily, spinning in the air.

"You're a... a..."

"A kwami!" it told me, landing on Madison's shoulder with a smile.

"Grayy, this is Marinette! Marinette, this is Grayy!"

"Um..." I tried to speak.

"And your little kwami can come out, too," Madison said, looking at my purse. My eyes widened as Tikki flew out of my purse with a nervous smile.

"You... You know that I'm Ladybug?" I asked in disbelief. Madison nodded her head.

"I've known for a while," Madison told me.

My mind was reeling. Madison was Moon Howler!! And she knew that I was Ladybug!! How did this happen?!

Tikki sat on my shoulder.

"How did you find out?" I breathed out.

"It's kinda obvious. Same hair, same eyes, same body, and same drive. Plus, when Ladybug enters, you disappear," Madison told me. Fear and panic squeezed my chest.

"Do you think anybody else knows?!" I asked. Madison shook her head. I started to relax.

"People here are blind!" I nervously laughed.

Tikki flew to Madison.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Madison!" she exclaimed with a bright smile. Madison smiled back.

"Same! You and Grayy can catch up while me and Marinette talk some more," Madison suggested. The kwamis nodded and flew somewhere else.

Madison and I talked about superhero and civilian stuff.

*End of Flashback*

"Hello, Madison! It's great to see you in my classroom again!" Miss Bustier greeted Madison cheerfully. Madison smiled at her and handed her schoolwork to her. "You made great progress! Thank you!"

Madison made her way to her seat in the back with Tyler. I smiled knowingly at Madison and Tyler as she ruffled his hair.

"Those two dorks are made for each other!" I whispered to Alya. She nodded her agreement with a smug smile.

ALL HAIL QUEEN ALYA!!!! THE SHIPPING QUEEN!!!!! Maybe that's why I LOVE Alya........ *shrug* Have a great day, my little kittens!!
