So far, Branch was not having any luck catching a Glitter Fish.
Smidge and Barb came by on a rowboat, "Off to a slow start, Branch? Don't let it get to you...baby."
"Yeah, I mean the day's only half over. But, you still got this...baby"
They then threw a diaper at him and rowed away laughing.
Branch said to himself, "Ok, think, Branch, think. This is taking too long, so to get the list done in time, you're gonna need..."
"Sooie! Got myself a lunker!"
Rufus was also fishing.
Branch finished, "...a shortcut."
He then went to Rufus and asked him, "Hey, can I catch your fish?"
"My fish? Well, surely, I'd be happy to pass on my rod."
Branch quietly said, "Yes!"
But then, Rufus said, "Along with the wisdom I've gained in my many years fishing."
"What? No, I-"
"Give a Troll a fish and he'll have glitter for a day, but teach a Troll to fish and glitter, glitter, glitter."
"You gotta be kidding me."
"Red sky at night, fisherman's delight. Red sky at morning, fishermen..."
"...take warning, got it. Please, just-"
"Now, hold on. This is my favorite part."
Rufus then started singing.
Branch then pointed to a kid next to them and shouted, "Look! A young Troll in search of a salt-of-the-earth father figure!"
Rufus dropped everything, "Where? I'm a-coming, son!"
Branch then took his fishing rod, "Success!"
He then caught the Glitter Fish, which landed on top of him.
He took the photo and then moved on.

Branch just played a triangle.

Branch took out every page but the first and last, "Chapter one: The Handsome Stranger. The End."

"Turn a frown upside down."
Riff had dropped his ice cream and Branch literally turned his frown upside down.

"Serenade a friend."
Branch sang the single word, "Serenade!" behind Hickory, who blushed.

"Trust someone random with a deep secret."
He whispered something to TBDB, who then started crying like a baby.
"I know. I'm not proud of it either."
Trollex then took TBDB in his arms and roared ferociously at Branch.

It was like that with almost every item, from catching a butterfly to washing Cooper.

Branch was resting on a hammock when Smidge, Barb, and Poppy walked by.
He said, "Oh, hey, guys."
Barb said, "Well, well, well. Looks like someone's given up on the bet."
Branch said, "Actually, no. I was just taking a little breather before...I finish my last item."
Barb and Smidge gasped, but Poppy said, "Branch, tell me you didn't speed through that entire list."
Branch said, "Ok, I won't. I'll let these pics tell you for me."
He then threw the photos he took in front of them.
Smidge and Barb observed them carefully as Barb said, "No! If he does them all, that means..."

Branch then said, "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to...host a backyard slumber party. Later...babies."
He then threw a diaper at the girls.
Poppy tried to stop him, "Branch, don't try to cram an entire slumber party in the next half hour. It's not the point and it's not even possible."
Branch just said, "We'll see about that," and left.
However, when he left, the other leaders came to Poppy.
Delta said, "Poppy, that boyfriend of yours has caused a lot of trouble with this stupid bet."
Trollex said, "Yeah, he used Beat Drop to complete one of the items and he is still not doing well."
TBDB was being held in his arms clearly freaked out, "It was awful."
Trollex tried to calm him, "I know it was."
"So awful."
"I know."
"I'll never hear anything pretty again."
"Shh, shh, shh."
Poppy said to them, "I'm so sorry, everyone. I tried to talk to him, but he wouldn't listen to me."
King Quincy then said, "It's only the pressures of a bet, Poppy. I'm sure he'll realize what he's doing before he 'wins'."
