(3rd person POV)
It was a peaceful morning in the city of yokohama as port mafia executive Chuuya Nakahara awoke from his sleep. Sitting up in his dandelion sheets, he felt a strange warmth inside. The morning rays spilled into his room lighting his walls. He couldn't help but smile at the wonderful weather. Getting out of his soft bed, he grabbed a black shirt, orange jacket, and some jeans to go out in. He was off work for a whole week starting yesterday, so he figured that he would go have fun around town. hopping into the bathroom, he rushed through his morning routine. Once he had finished, the Ginger was ready to leave when he caught glimpse of his hat lying on the table. "That hat...I don't need to wear it do I?"Chuuya mumbled.

The tiny man closed the door prepared for a new day, leaving behind a gray hat on the table.

|why are you leaving it?|

Stepping through the door, Chuuya was faced with a blinding blue horizon, the warm sun, refreshing winds, and a cloudless sky. Strolling through the park, small things seemed to be highlighted, brighting the surrounding scene. His gaze now took notice to the small dew drops on flower petals, or the swaying of the spring leaves. Light and joy seemed to surround him, as if a heavy weight has been taken from him. Strangely enough, the young man felt as if he was a new person, he felt so much happier. Constant annoyance no longer was shown in his expression, his scowl now replaced with a small smile. Chuuya walked through the streets that day as if he could fly.

The first thing he decided to do was pay a visit to a cafe. As he scoured the roads he came across a tall orange brick building. Memories flashed in his mind, this was the base of the Armed detective agency! Strangely, he could only remember fighting against and with the agency. "As long as none of the people there hate me in particular, I should be fine,"He thought in a matter of a fact way. Gently pushing open the door, he glided into the small cafe and noticed all the tables were taken up by random strangers. Most of the bar seat were full as well, all except for three empty seats on the end. Not wanting to be the only one standing, he took a seat at the end of the bar seats. Soon, a young waitress came up to him and asked him to order. Cold Chai tea is thing new the little powerhouse wanted to try, so he settled on that, along with a small slice of strawberry cake. He sat silently and stared at the wall while waiting for his food. That is until he heard a door close behind him. Turning his head his, eyes stopped on a tall man with pumpkin colored hair. He wore a fitted tan suit and a small notebook in his hands. Chuuya hurriedly averted his eyes as the man came and took a seat next to him. This man was Kunikida Dopo from the Armed detective agency.

The heels on his shoes clacked against the tile as he walked over and sat in the chair horizontal to the small red head. When the waitress came up to kunikida he ordered black coffee. Just then Chuuya's order arrived. He took a small edge of his cake slice and practically cried. He had never had such delicate food!! Somehow, He ended up eating the whole cake in three bites, then took a small sip of his tea. While he wiped my mouth, he caught Kunikida watching him. Awkwardly, he turned to face him, and for a few strange seconds the two merely stared at each other. That is until Kunikida cleared his through and began to speak.

"How are you holding up, after yesterday I mean." Now That he had mentioned it Chuuya couldn't recall the other day's events at all. Was kunikida there yesterday? Did he get into a fight? For the moment chuuya decided to not be concerned with that. "Yeah, I'm feeling better than I have been in a while. Beside the average headache from time to time, I'm feeling well." Anxiety started to creep up on him when he found a pair of glasses facing him as if he was an alien. "Why are you being so polite? Are you sure your not sick or depressed?" Was he really acting strange? He felt mostly normal himself, so he decided to brush it off. "Yes I'm sure, I feel great." Kunikida eyed Chuuya wary. Feeling uncomfortable,Chuuya started up a more casual conversation, while investigating yesterday's events."So what were you doing yesterday?" "Me? I had work all morning, then I went searching for Dazai. I found him in the grave yard again." A perplexing feeling came over Chuuya as he listened to Kunikida. Who was Dazai, and why would they be in the graveyard? Kunikida noticed Chuuya's curious expression and quickly regret his words. The shorter man wasn't even a friend to the orange haired man, but he still felt guilty making him grieve.

"What happened next?" The executive had spoken up again, shocking the Agent. The orderly man was prepared to be shut up, or for Chuuya to leave, but no such thing occurred. "Well, it took a while to convince him to return to headquarters. However, I got him back and he went home for the night. When he came in today he looked exhausted and actually DID work, I'm not sure if he's ok." The Taller male once again looked back at the smaller one, and was surprised to find he didn't look the least bit angry. "Is he a friend of yours?" "I suppose I would call him a friend, beside being my partner." "I didn't know you had a partner?" Kunikida was caught off guard once again by the red-heads statement. He decided that Chuuya might not be aware that Dazai was his partner, them not being together very often. "Oh I'm going to be late!" The executive quickly popped up, left gave money to the register and called back to Kunikida, "Nice talk, I'll see you around maybe!!" Rushing out the door Chuuya left behind a very confused Kunikida.
