The Harper Quintuplets and their younger sister, Britney were in the back of the minivan. Britney fell asleep next to Dawn.
"Why do we have to move to Maine?" Asked Katelyn.
"Because, we have to expand the business. Your father has decided to move here, so he can keep an eye on the new employees." Said Anne.
As the car pulled into the driveway, Katelyn groaned, and Britney opened her eyes. The moving company was driving their truck behind the family. They got all of the beds out first thing.
Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Katelyn were using all of Tom's tools to build their bunk beds back up, while Dawn and Britney helped bring everything else inside. Katelyn looked out the window on the right side of the room, which is where her and Nicky's bunk bed was going.
"Guys. Our new neighbors are helping bring things inside." Her sentence was followed by the boys walking over to the window, and watching. There was a little girl, her little brother, her mother and her father. They saw Britney and the little girl talking, while their parents were talking to the man and woman.
"Come on. Let's go say hello." Said Ricky. The four of them walked downstairs, and outside.
"Oh! Louis, Rachel, these are the other four quintuplets." Said Anne, pointing at Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Katelyn. They all waved, shook hands and introduced themselves.
"Mommy, daddy, could Ellie and I have a play date after we get everything done?" Asked Britney.
"Sure. We'll let the quintuplets watch you, and have a cup of coffee with her parents at their house." Said Anne.
The two girls smiled, and ran over to the tree with the old tire swing on it. Dawn walked over to her four siblings, and stood next to Katelyn.
The next day
Tom and Anne were having coffee with Ellie's parents, Louis and Rachel. The boys were downstairs, in the kitchen, and Dawn and Katelyn were watching the girls in Britney's room."Dawn, Katie?" Said Britney.
"Hmm?" The two girls hummed.
"Can we go explore the woods?" Asked Ellie.
"You know, as long as you five come with us." Britney reassured.
"Sure. I'll go get the boys." Said Katelyn.
She walked downstairs with Dawn, Britney and Ellie behind her. The boys didn't even see her, because they were in a deep argument.
"I'm telling you, Dicky! If you put a metal spoon in the microwave, it's gonna blow up!" Yelled Ricky.
"You don't know that." Dicky said, while rolling his eyes.
"Yes. Yes we do." Said Nicky.
"Boys!" Yelled Dawn.
"Come on. They wanna go explore the woods." Said Katelyn.
They all walked into the woods, and let the girls have their fun. While they were walking, Ellie pointed at a sign that said Pet Sematary. whoever wrote it, obviously spelled Cemetery wrong. It got on Ricky's nerves.
They followed where the sign was pointing, until they came up to a cleared up place in the middle of the woods. There were wooden crosses all over the place, with silhouettes of animals. It sent shivers down all of their spines.
Ellie and Britney shook it off, and went over to the big wall of rocks. They started climbing.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." A man's voice said. The girls got down, and looked over at an old man to the left of the quintuplets.
"My name is Jud. And the seven of you just stumbled into the pet cemetery." He said.
They all switched looks, and looked back at Jud.
"Do you have a pet buried here?" Asked Ellie.
"Yes. My dog."
"We have a dog. And he sure as heck ain't gonna be buried here." Said Dicky, earning a slap upside the head from Katelyn.
"That's the smart thing to do. Every time an animal is buried here, they come back." Said Jud.
"Excuse me?" Said Dawn.
His sentence was followed by Katelyn inching closer to her siblings.
Suddenly, Rachel and Anne appeared behind them.
"Kids. What have I told you about talking to strangers?" Asked Anne.
"Not to do it." All six of the Harper kids said.
"And you still did."
"Yeah. I said, 'this isn't pizza,' and I just chucked it." Said Dicky.
"That's throwing your food at the lunch lady." Said Ricky.
"Don't worry. He lives close to us." Said Ellie.
"He's another neighbor." Said Britney.
"Oh. Uh, we're having dinner at our house tonight with the Harpers. Would you like to join us?" Asked Rachel.
"Sure. I'll see you tonight then." Said Jud.
Later that night
After Jud got there that night, they all started eating. Ellie and Britney showed them a ballet routine that they'd been working on."So, what brings you guys to Ludlow Maine?" Asked Jud.
"Business." Tom said.
"Same thing here." Said Louis.
"I never caught your names." Jud said.
"These are our Quintuplets, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, Katelyn and Dawn. And their younger sister, Britney." Said Anne. The quintuplets hadn't said a single word the entire time. They were still kind of disturbed by what they had just seen hours before. Especially Katelyn and Ricky. The spelling got on Ricky's nerves, and being in the presence of all those dead animals were sure to give Katie nightmares.
"Kids, what's going on?" Asked Tom. "You Five hadn't said anything."
"We're eating." The five of them said, making their parents worry.
Okay, okay. So, I know that these aren't the exact words they said in the movie. But, I'm not really man enough to watch it more than once. So... yeah. Chapter one is done!
