Walking slowly on the sidewalk weaving through streets and houses I found my way to our secret spot. All the girls were there peacefully waiting for me to show up. I looked at them with a sad expression on my face.

It was never easy saying goodbye. And I know this one is going to be tough. It's not like I'm just moving to another part of town, I'm moving to a whole new state. I'm never going to see them again and that's what hurts me the most. I let out a big sigh while approaching them. They all look at me with concern written on their faces. I bring my head up letting myself look at them. I know this isn't going to be easy but I just have get straight to the point, like ripping off a bandaid.

"I'm moving to California in five days" I blurted out. All of their jaws dropped as I said that.

" I'm going to miss you so much." They said back to back. I knew I'm going to miss them too. What we have is something you don't find to often.

We talked a little bit more and said our goodbyes. We promise to keep in touch the best that we can.

"I'm back!" I yelled stepping through the front door hearing it slam behind me. I hear some muffling sounds from the kitchen and then my mom popped her head out the door way giving me a thumbs up.

Walking through my bedroom door I grab a box and start filling it with my pictures and perfumes. Once that was filled up to the top I closed off the box and mark the box with my name.

After three boxes in I felt myself start to get tired. I move the boxes to a random corner in my room stacking them up. I took a looked around the rooming noticing how empty it started to look after just three boxes. I would be lying if I didn't say this moved is hurting me. I am not ready to leave this life behind me. I grow up here and it sad to see so many of my life just vanish.

Stripping out of my day clothes I slip into some pajamas. I laid in bed staying at the ceiling for a few moments before feeling my eyes shut down and sleep taking over.
