The plane landed just as I started to wake up. I unbuckle my seat belt and waited for my family to get up before I could grab my bag. I walked slowly behind my little brother patiently waiting to see what it looks like here in California. Once we were off the plane we headed out of the building and into the rental car that was waiting for us.

The car ride to the house was long. We travel around curves and up and down streets making slight turns every so often. The car pulled up to this house which was twice as big as our last house. I look over it with amazed written all over my face.

My mom must of notice because she turn towards me and says, "Do you like sweetie?" I took my eyes off of the house and put them on her nodding my head.

Everyone was out of the car before me. I was still in shock that this was my new home. That my new life was beginning today. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. I let out a big sigh and got out of the car. I grabbed my backpack and followed behind everyone else to the house.

"Please be careful when walking in, there's going to be boxes everywhere." My mom said as she open the door to the house.

We tip toed around the boxes as we wander around the house taking in the beauty of the house. I make my way up stairs to see the bedrooms.  I walk in to each one and take a look around.

After seeing all of the rooms I decided on the second one with the big bay window.  I went downstairs and slowly gather my boxes, bringing them upstairs one by one. Stopping ever so often to catch my breath.

The rest of the night we unpacked the boxes that were already there. Mom said the rest of the boxes should come sometime this week.
