Chapter 7

Nasir (Nas)POV

Damn im boku tired. I aint get home until about 2 out here in the streets and didnt get to sleep until 3. But im not gon let that shit hold me back. I got up did my morning routine. I checked to make sure Dawayne was up. That nigga looked like he was dead. I called his name to see if he would wake up but he didnt even move. So I walked up closer and smacked him in his face. He jumped up swinging and I made sure not to get hit.

"Nas bitch, you play too fucking much "

"Nigga could have murked yo stupid ass" I said weak laughing

"Get the fuck out" he said holding his face

I was leaning on the wall for support from laughing my ass off

"Son, get the fuck" he said throwing a shoe. I ran out before I could hit. Soon after I left he slammed the door.

"Yall stop" my antie Nisha said from her room.

I walked back on my room to find Kam standing up in her crib with her hair all messed up. I laughed a lil .

"Good morning baby girl" I say picking her up and kissing her cheek.

"Daddy baby slept good huh?" I say tickling her. She she squirmed laughed and giggled in my arms. Its moments like this I could never get enough of.

After we finished playing I got her ready for the nursery and was out the door. Before I made it too school I made a lil quick stop at McDonald's . The line was long but a nigga was hungry like muthafucka.

I pulled up at school blasting Soulja Slim - Soulja Life Mentality. I walked in to school still vibing to my music. I walked ova to the front office sign to sign in. I lied and said i couldnt find my way to school so they let me slide. I walked in 2nd period sat down and tried to eat my food in peace.

Tony POV

I walked into school feeling the same as I do any other day. This morning I had to go to the office to make sure I had everything to Graduate later this year.

While I was walking to the office I saw Zion all up in Tommy's face. I felt some type of way cause me and Tommy was cool. I knew it was Zion because of the tattoo of his mama name on his neck. But the fact that last night Zion was talking all his i love you bae and I cant live without you. And he wonder why we not official no more. But im not trippin off of nothing that not for me.

I went to homeroom and 2nd period and 30mins into the lesson I saw ole'dude come in class with some McDonald's smelling too good. You know i mean the food right.

Now dont get me wrong, i dont care that he came late but he come in this bitch smacking blowin the fuck out me. I had to look at him crazy he see no wrong with eating like that. Like damn have some fucking table manners.

Then when he was done with his paper he let it fall to the floor and didnt bother picking it up.

" you aint have to be trifling like that."

"What you mean? How im trifling? " he said

"Cause you didn't pick up yo paper"

"Fuck that paper"

"Trifling ass"

Later at lunch

Me, Raya, and Rasheed was in the cafeteria laughing loud talking about any and everything. Then we started singing songs old and new ones. We was even dancing a lil bit in our seats. Raya crazy ass even went back to the early 2000's with Sunshine Anderson - Heard it all before with the bounce beat .

All you hear is me and Rasheed saying

"Ohh.... yea yea yea come on........ ohh yea Ray"

Bruh she had me so weak how off key she was and thats my song. while we were singing Zion and his la'potnas came by the table. But them coming to the table didnt stop us from singing.

"You not gon give me a kiss"

"First you or none of yo la' potnas spoke to anyone at this table so therefore you are not present"

"My bad, wassam yall. So can i have my kiss now."

"No"

"Why you- come out side with me"

"Boy no"

"Stop making a scene and come see"

"Ight bruh dont be all day"

While i was getting up Raya was still singing

"See yo lies aint working now" she was saying more to Zion than singing the song.

We walked towards the gym where no one usually is.

"Whats yo problem ? Like you wasnt my baby last night" he said getting close enough to be breathing the same air.

"I saw you and Tommy this morning "

"What you talkin bout I wasnt with Tommy"

"Lie again. I know it was you cause I saw Renée on yo neck. Dont play with me Zion"

"Mannn" he couldn't even look me in my eyes.

"You aint even gotta tell me. Im sick of you Zion" I walked off trying not to here wateve he had to say

I walked back to table unbothered

"Heard if all before" I continued singing while sitting down
