The woman was trying to see Aaryan's face but his bright light under thehoodie was blocking her sight, as he was walking away the woman made a small video of himthat Aaryan was unaware of. After a few hours of patrolling he called it a night and headed forhome, he silently came inside and slipped inside the bed when he heard "where were you, honey,the whole night? you think you can wander around without getting caught?", Aaryan had nowords, he turned and tried to cover "Golu I was just walking out in the street to get some freshair", Preksha rolled and got on top of him and she pushed her knee against his balls hurting himlike hell and replied in sweet tone "don't try to lie again, okay honey? and if you want to get intotrouble by saving people at night then fine, include me, keep me aware how you are doing outthere because I can't have the risk of you going there clueless and another yeti comes andattacks you, so you will keep me updated before you take any actions, I will monitor you fromhome", Aaryan hadn't any choice, his life was under Preksha's knee so he had to agree and saidyes. Aaryan asked her irritated "what are you saying?", Preksha said "this area filled iswith goons by seeing police records, and no one leaves their kid alone at this time, all I amsaying is just go from above the buildings and look underneath and confirm", Aaryan agreed toher as he never doubts her gut feeling and also because there might be a chance of it being atrap. Aaryan went to the terrace of the building and jumped to one another building andreached right above the alley point where the scream was coming from, he looked down, thealley was dark and only one pole light was working and luminescing the alley and rightunderneath the pole he saw a man holding a ten or twelve-year boy who looked like he mighthave shitted himself on gunpoint, Aaryan said "Golu I see a boy held as a hostage on gunpoint, Ishould hurry", Preksha stopped him and replied "do you see anyone else there?", Aaryanscanned the horizon and replied "no, the alley is empty as a shell", Preksha side smiled andreplied "I knew it", Aaryan asked "what?", Preksha sat back and replied "if the boy is kept as ahostage then for what and who is he waiting for? no one is around you from who he could askmoney or anything else, he can't be doing that for nothing", Aaryan agreed but he was more of asucker side when it comes to helping anyone and he was constantly hearing the screams of thatkid so he said "how can you be so sure? During lunchtime, he went to the cafeteria looking for Preksha and to havelunch with her. as he entered the cafeteria he saw some bunch of students looking at something,Aaryan went closer and saw a guy trying to ask Preksha for the bowl, his heart sank there, evenhe saw that Preksha hasn't replied that guy anything but still, he felt cheated inside him like shewasn't supposed to allow being around her, but now he saw the guy kneeling and asking forbeing a partner for dance bowl, Aaryan was filled with rage and anger and sadness and someother feelings too which was hard to describe. slowly his energy was channelling towards in fistinvoluntarily, he didn't realise that his anger was about to do something really bad. he didn'tknow what he was doing, he just started walking towards that guy kneeling, his veins of eyeballstarted glowing like it was filled with rage, there was hidden anger inside him that wasscreaming to come out. he pushed the crowd aside with one push, Preksha saw him coming andthe rage in his eyes made her body stiff, Aaryan grabbed the guy's collar lited him few inches upfrom the ground, everyone was shocked at that moment, they were shocked because he lifted thecaptain of the football team who is well known for bullying kids around, they were shocked tothink how that captain is going to bully Aaryan, but Preksha too knew that it's the guy sheshould be worried about because Aaryan could just kill him in just a few second. the captain inmid-air said "put me down asshole then let's have a fair battel for her, whoever wins takes her todance bowl", Aaryan left him and he dropped on the ground, the captain stood on his feet andjust before his punch even travelled halfway Aaryan moved aside and punched his nose andknocked him in one shot and replied while scratching his beard "I win, she is mine". he grabbedPreksha's hand in front of everyone and took her off the cafeteria. Preksha was really pissed athim, she pulled her hand just outside the cafeteria and replied "you just can't barge into thecafeteria and pull a stunt like that", Aaryan looked in her eyes and said "he is a bully, hedeserved that", Preksha covered her face with her palm in frustration and replied "yeah he didbut you didn't punish him for that, it was your jealousy", Aaryan agreed and told her everythingabout his strange behaviour, she listened to him patiently and then replied with anger "whydidn't you tell me?!, that dance isn't bigger than our relationship, you could have just told me,we both have had learned dance together", Aaryan was in deep guilt, he was silent, he gave her alook to get back home but she replied "I was thinking to stay at Priya's house tonight", Aaryanreplied with a fake smile "okay then see you at night", Preksha replied with pain in her tone"night stay", Aaryan understood she didn't want to come home, she was upset. he didn't haveany choice rather than letting her go. she stood and started heading, Aaryan yelled "I love you!",Preksha stopped there turned around smiled at him and continued walking away. Aaryan brought his twenty years old reel camera and placed it on the tableand set a timer, he put his hand on her shoulder, got a little closer and posed in a cute formalway. They took their essentials in the car, filled it full with gas for the after-party, got out andheaded to the dance bowl. all the way to college they held each other's hands tightly in the car asit was a very special moment for them. as they reached college they saw the whole place turnedinto a teen club, students with their partners, holding hands in the entry gate kissing in hallsand talking in grounds, college at night looked so beautiful, they saw all that while coming toparking. They saw many other couples from their batch wearing tuxedosand gowns, holding each other and dancing. The discolight turned blue and created a romantic atmosphere and hats off to event managers becausesoon artificial snow started falling from sealing it was a moment to remember, they both wantedtime to freeze, they didn't want this to end, at least not so soon!. while everyone was enjoyingtheir quality time, Aaryan felt something but he ignored because he was more careful about thatfeeling with Preksha than a troubling feeling, but within seconds a bazooka came barging inmiddle of hall injuring students and staff and tossing Aaryan and Preksha in corner of the hall,Aaryan hugged her so that if they hit anything hard then she doesn't get any injuries, they weredragged and then hit a wall very hard that it cracked. Aaryan stood up and confirmed if Prekshawas okay and started channelling his powers, but Preksha stopped him because there were waytoo many people around there. he just scanned around for threats and source of this bazookawhen he saw a barbarian looking guy with grey hair and ponytail with perfectly round blackshade through his red blazing eyes were hidden inside and wearing polar bear skin coat andcargo, but he was not alone two Yeti same like the one he was attacked by, one holding thebazooka concluding that he fired it and other Yeti holding Dr Singh by his neck. the barbarianlooking guy stood in the middle of the hall and yelled "sorry to barge in like this, but I amlooking for Aaryan, if he is here then please step forward, and then I will kill the rest of you!",Aaryan didn't know what to do, he wasn't sure who this guy is and what will he do after heconfronts him because entering with a bazooka fire isn't friendly gesture. the barbarian guygave a hint to the yeti who was holding Dr Singh and yeti lift him in the air by head andbarbarian said "if you don't come now I will kill your doctor!", Aaryan had no choice now, hecouldn't delay now so he asked Preksha to stay put and he was going to step forward, thoughPreksha tried to stop him even she knew that saving lives is more important right now. Aaryanstepped forward, as he did, the barbarian guy had an evil smile on his face and suddenly that guysnatched Dr Singh from yeti and looked right into Aaryan's eyes and crushed Dr Singh's headwith his bare hand as if the head was lemon and he just squeezed it. it just created chaos amongeveryone around and all the students started running and scattering in the hall, Aaryan was inshock for a while, the guy who helped him and his father and been so loyal to his family was justmurdered in front of him, Aaryan looked around and saw almost all students ran off the hallleaving him and the barbarian guy with his yetis alone in there. the barbarian guy startedwalking towards him and said "look I don't have much time because I have an entire army ofmost powerful ancient creatures that I collected and bred over so millions of years waiting in aninactive state in Antarctica to start killing all mankind so let me just give you a painful death sothat I can move forward", Aaryan was terrified, he now understood all those attacks, it was him,but he couldn't figure out who he is and why is he doing this?. The barbarian guy came in frontof him and said: "you have your father's looks, I think I am going to give you a very painfuldeath just because of this", Aaryan standing stiff but ready to channel his energy anytime, heasked the barbarian guy looking into his red glowing eyes under his black shades "who are youand how do you know me", the guy came closer and took off his shades and his rage and revengewas reflecting in his eyes and he replied "I am the one who you're father left alone to die,hopeless, in the verge to kill myself, broken, shattered into pieces, vanished from existence, I amAgni", Aaryan and Preksha both were shocked from the bottom, but strangely Aaryan wasn'tshocked enough, he was worried. I mutated the creatures that we collected for so many millions of years andbuilt my army and tested them first in Antarctica on those scientists and I got pretty dammgood results, then I sent one for you too in the club, now I will kill you extract your genes tobuild clones for my army", Aaryan was not in his senses now, he was feeling that he was part ofthis conspiracy for so long and if he destroyed the world then his part will be in it, Agni stoodup and yelled "enough of this back story, now I accept your fate" and just finishing that he rantowards Aaryan and threw a red blazing lava-like fist, Aaryan quickly bent and dodged his fistand channelled his energy to his leg and kicked Agni in the chest and he went flying in corner ofthe hall and made a big hole in the wall, Agni screamed furiously "you got straight kid, thanks itwill help my army!" and he stretched his arm and produced liquified igneous rocks and threw atAaryan, Aaryan crossed his arms to cover himself but those rocks were not usual lava rocks, theywere something toxic, Aaryan turned his head and saw the yeti's trying to hold him from back,they both pulled his one hand each up and lifted him in christ position, Agni came around andsaid with frustration " let me tell you, I will destroy this earth because that's what we are madefor, and there is nothing sacred than accepting your destiny" saying that Agni punched hischeekbone and Aaryan started bleeding from his eyes and nose but still, he spat the blood thatwas going in his mouth and yelled "what you mean, you were supposed to protect humanity, youwent rogue and it wasn't my father's fault, the seven gods made you establish civilization andinstead of that what you do is manslaughter, the god won't forgive you", Agni gave confusedexpression and pulled Aaryan's hairs and said "what the fuck are you talking about the kid",Aaryan looked him in his eyes and replied "father told me all about how you went rogue andalmost killed a member to prove your point, how he had to kill you which unfortunately heshould have made sure that you do stay dead and they all left you there" after the second Aaryanfinished talking Agni laughed his breath out, he put his hand on his forehead and just laughed,Aaryan found it annoying and he said "what's so funny asshole?" apart, Aaryan grab ahold on himself and driven towards Agni, but he saw Aaryan coming to him and threw a punchat Aaryan's knees, but this time our hero dodged it by slowing down his speed and kicked Agnion the head and made him dizzy for a while which gave Aaryan some more time and he grabbedhim from behind and locked him in unmoveable position while yeti were still struggling tocontrol the blood flowing from their one armless shoulder, but when they saw their masterkneeling to death they ran towards Aaryan with one arm each but then hopefully they heard apolice siren, maybe someone from students might have called them, they barged in the hall withguns and tasers, Agni ordered them to handle the police while he was trying to get out hisAaryan's hold, Aaryan was losing his grip slowly, his hands were getting sweaty and Agni wastrying hard, he reached to his breaking point and lost his hold on him, Agni quickly turned andkicked Aaryan and flew through the roof and fell in college ground, his kick was like catapultwhich threw him hundred meters away, after few seconds Agni landed in the ground with lamppoles in his both hands, while Aaryan was handling his demon meanwhile Preksha cameforward and advised the cops to use electric tasers on yeti to neutralize them, though they dohave taser but Yetis were too strong and fast that they couldn't even get near both Yetis, theywere all struggling and Preksha was doing everything possible to end them, she even called backup but since the station was too far so it was going to take at least ten minutes to get them here,Aaryan was alone with Agni, he threw the poles at Aaryan like sharp javelins which he tried tododge but one pole pierced his leg and shattered his thigh bone, he screamed so loud thatPreksha heard it from meters away and she ran towards the ground to check on him, she waswatching his love dying in front of her, with his scream the dark clouds lit up and it startedraining, heavy drops of rain were falling on him and increasing his pain, he couldn't even moveone inch without pain to death experience, it was like his shattered bones are puncturing histissues like sharp iron nails. he was yelling and screaming, Agni came near him and stood uponhim, Aaryan was laying on the ground in great pain, he was healing but very slowly, Agni put hisone leg on Aaryan's thigh and started crushing it, Aaryan was crying and screaming but Agniwas smiling and enjoying it, the rain turned into a storm, winds blowing at high speed andlightnings continuously striking everywhere, Agni bent a little and said "I experienced ten timesmore pain than what you are feeling now" and thew a hook but in a second Aaryan channelledhis power to his other leg and kicked in the opposite direction in which leg folds, it brokeAgni's leg in half and dropped him on the ground too now, ignoring his pain Aaryan stood onone leg and tried to lift Agni, but Agni kept punching him, he didn't have any choice now, Agniwas too strong, he trained himself so far so he could never beat him in combat, they were bothin same terms, one leg gone but still if Agni got to hold on himself in few minutes before hegoes full mumma bear on him, he had very less time but a big thing to do, he was thinking andthinking but out of nowhere Agni stood on his one leg and crouched his other one too andstared with killing spree eyes, he saw Agni was channelling his power to his leg, Aaryanunderstood that he is planning to kick him or push him down so that Agni could punch him todeath, Aaryan knew he won't be able to stop him once he dominates him, the storm is becomingbloody. so he had one idea, an idea that he knew he won't come back alive, everything was goingin slow motion in front of him, the rain the storm and Agni running towards him, he had to takethe risk now or he might risk millions of lives, he was stuck in his mind, hanged by twothoughts, one side risking his happy life with Preksha and one side risking humanity, he didn'twant to be selfish but he also didn't want to lose her, he looked at Preksha dodging the yetiswith taser along with other cops in the same ground, at that very moment they made eyecontact, call it coincidence or fate or connection between their heart, she looked at him and sawa sorry expression in Aaryan's eyes, a farewell and tears in both Aaryan and Preksha's and took off a few hundred meters in air at sonic speed, Agni didn'tget time to respond, with that sudden increase in G-force they both lost conscious in mid-air,they managed to reach the farthest distance they could in the air somehow without catching upwith tornado, when they both opened their eyes they found themself flying towards a tornado,dark swirling clouds with the glowing centre as if it contained powerhouse inside it, Agni wasscared and tried to escape from Aaryan's sight, but Aaryan was not going to let him go, it washis last chance for redemption, Aaryan starts rotating himself making himself to move fastertowards tornado, it was getting hard for Aaryan to control Agni at that time so he had to dowhat he never wanted, he was scared to death, but he needed to do it anyway, he wasn't mentallyprepared but he was shocked when he heard some voices in his head, the storm was making sonoise that he wasn't able to understand the voice but then he closed his eyes and finally realizedthat it's his father talking to him, he heard "son, you meant for something, you meant to do whatI could never, live without regrets and help who deserves, Agni could never reproduce becausethe nature was against it but you were born out of love, I loved your mother so much that evenmother nature allowed our relationship and that's how you were born, your mother knew thatit's a my salvation andjoin my fellas, they finally saw me, they are calling me" and the giant red lightning came like adescendant of gods, maybe devil's, but it came raging and Aaryan saw it as his end and closedhis eyes to accept it, in that very moment he was only seeing flashes of Preksha, the lightningcame closer glowing his face into its own red colour, the lightning hit directly Agni but Aaryanwas in close contact with him and almost all lightening conducted in his body too, a bigexplosion happened in air and cops along with students and other people witnessed his heroicaction, but there was no sign of Preksha around cops or students, everyone on the ground sawthe explosion and noticed one body dropping straight down to the ground and other one bodydropped tangentially making Simi-arc towards city lake, police and media got to both bodylocation as soon as possible, the one that dropped straight to ground was identified as Agni'sbut when they reached to the lake they didn't found anybody, they just found a sign of draggingsomething out of the lake as there were dragging sign on lake soil coming from the lake tolakeside soils, all they found were pieces of black blazer and shirt floating on the lake, but theycouldn't identity as DNA prints were spoiled because of water. Because of the lack of evidencethe investigation was closed after all.weeks passed but there was no sign of Aaryan, the crime rate increased again by 32% as ifcriminals were filling their absence with a crime they couldn't commit when Aaryan waspatrolling, people were dying in streets, mugged, looted and sometimes abused. people wereliving in fear again, they were scared to go out at nights again. a prime time reporter wascovering the crime scene and she said "range hills turning to vice city, people spend their timeholding guns to either attack or defend themselves, absence of our protector has resulted inchaos, so far there has been no sign of our protector, after talking and identifying with collegestudents we now know the real identity of our protector and his name was Aaryan, a psychologystudent, they also told us about his girlfriend but there is no sighting of her also so far, studentssaid they last saw her going towards the tornado path which leads to the lake in which Aaryancrashed into, when police investigated Aaryan's house they found many things missing or stolenand an open golden safe in the hall along with some leather pieces after forensics reportsexperts said that it contained an ancient herb that heals the high degree of burns and severedamage. we all think he is dead as his rival was found dead on the spot when the police checkthe body, international agencies have found the large inactive isolated mutated army inAntarctica which was then confirmed that they matched with Aaryan's rival's DNA confirminghow dangerous he was and it was necessary it was for Aaryan to take him down as he wasplanning a war, Aaryan saved us from genocide and stopped the evil. if he is really dead then noone can stop this city to burn into ashes"LATER THAT NIGHTA same group of thugs that tried to trick Aaryan before with small kid were scouting every alleyin the midnight, the sky was dark and fog covered the streets giving an advantage to people tohide in it when thugs and looters come around, they found a man in the middle of the alleytaking out his garbage, he caught their attention so before he could go back inside the buildingfrom the back door they surrounded him, all six thugs pulled their knives out and threatenedhim to give him his ring and locket as he didn't have a wallet, the poor man resisted a lot butthey got out of patience and grabbed his hands and legs, the man cried "please it's the onlything left with me of my dead wife, please someone save me, help me", a thug said while takingout the locket "shut up old man, there is no one coming to save you, let's send you where yourdead wife is", the alley was dark and only the light was coming from cars and bikes passing bythe main street and lighting the alley to inside, the guy pleased till his verge and asked for helpbut no one came and thug said by taking out his gun "no one is coming", they all were facing tothe guy who was on the ground and suddenly they heard footsteps so they turned their head andsaw a black figure in front of the alley, because the light was coming from behind the figure noone could see it properly, but it made their heart froze and body shaking with wide-open eyeswhen they saw the figure luminescing Neon colour.
