Chapter 1

Mia's POV
"Mia could I please talk to you for a minute?" My mom asked politely "Sure mom" I replied with a smile "Well since your going to 11th grade and that costs 50,000$ at your school which is way to expensive" she said "Yeah soo.." I said in a worried voice "Well I had to move you into a cheaper and better school and its a boarding school, like you always wanted to go to right?" She said smiling "Yes I wanted to go to a boarding school but not on the beginning of this year, can we please do it next year me and my friends plan to graduate together?" I said begging " I'm sorry Mia it's too expensive." She said trying to calm me down "Okay, I'll try to make new friends." I said sadly "And mom what is the name the school I'm going to again?" I said "Winston high school" she said still trying to calm me down "I'll just go to sleep mom, since I'm going to school tomorrow".

I can't believe my mom she only told me this now and tomorrow's the first day of school, she could've told me this like 3 weeks earlier. "Hey Amanda?" I said "Why are you calling now it's late we can always talk tomorrow at school" she said excitedly "About that, I'm moving to this school called Winston high school and its a boarding school" I said very sadly "What beg your mom do whatever it takes to stay here, remember out plan of graduating together with Alison?" She said angrily "I did try everything, but I can't, bye I better go" I said as a hanged up.

OMG!! Today is the first day of school and I'm actually excited for some reason when I'm supposed to be sad. I decided to wear my baby blue top and ripped jeans with red high tops and leather jacket. "Mia get down here please" I heard my mom yell from downstairs "Coming mom" I said gently "Mia when you get to school, go to the main office and ask for your locker and dorm key" she said smiling "oh okay mom" I said happily

I got on my mom's car and asked her how long I'll be staying there for and she said "2 years darling". I just sat there thinking what would happen if I stayed in my old school. Finally we got it the school, it was only a 30 minute drive from home. "Mia be a good girl and listen to your teachers" she said "I know mom and I will" I said smiling.

The school was gigantic, from the looks of it I might as well like it. I entered the school, it had white walls ( painted nicely ) and white marbled floors. I was looking for the office when suddenly I saw a sign that said 'Main Office'. As I entered it I saw a lady, maybe in her mid'30s, as I approached her I asked "May I have my locker and dorm room key please?" "I need you full name please" she asked nicely "Mia Angeline Francis" I said politely too "Okay here's your locker and dorm room key and your schedule" she said.

I left the office and went to my locker, it was number 31, I was surprised there were already books in it with my name written. I took a look at the schedule and my first 2 classes are English and History. I grabbed my English and history book and took them to my dorm room, which was number 103, I opened it to see a guy, he had a messy blonde hair with green eyes, perfectly tanned skin and muscular. "Who the fuck are you?" He said meanly "I'm Mia and this is my dorm" i said meanly too "Well, MIA, first of all this isn't your dorm and second that your bed" he yelled "Whatever I'll get ready for the first class, which is English"

I went out my dorm room and thought to myself damn that boy's handsome but really mean. I went inside English class and sat at the back of the classroom, when suddenly my roommate entered. Wow he changes fast, he was wearing red shirt with jeans and dark blue converse shoes. He gave me a mean glare and had to sit in front of me because all the seats were full. The teacher finally walked in " Hello class, I will be your English teacher this year and I am Mr. Smiths" he said. " Okay class, please work with your partner beside you, and introduce yourselves" beside me was a girl, with light brown hair and brown eyes with pink rosy cheeks. "Hello, I'm Mia" I said "Umm...I'm Veronica" she said softly "Wanna be friends?" I asked nicely "Sure" she said.

Finally the bell rang, it was recess time. I sat with Veronica and we ate lunch together. I turned to see my roommate ( I still didn't get his name ) and she was sitting with this girl who thinks she really perfect and pretty. "Who is that guy and that girl?" I asked Veronica "Since its your first year, that Jake Andrews the schools most popular guy and his also a bad boy and that's his girlfriend Tara Jacobs the schools most popular girl, Jake is the football team captain and Tara's the cheerleader captain" she said trying to catch her breath "ohh okay" I said "Jake is my roommate" I said "Wait he's your roommate, Tara is going to be so jealous when she finds out"
