Mika: How long has it been since I held your manipulators hm? Barbatos? Ever since we've found ourselves in this place, I haven't been able to use you.

I walked inside a hidden storage room inside... Well, under Azur Lane. Honestly, how the Bulins haven't found this place yet is hell of a big surprise.

Mika: looks like I'll be needing you sooner than we thought... Barbatos.

I stood on front of Barbatos, all in its upgraded glory. Multicolored tubes attached to its chest, allowing it to help the base with power thanks to it's reactor.

Mika: how about we get you prepared just in case.

And so, I started my day away from the office and worked on cleaning and optimizating Barbatos.

*Whirring*

I accidentally dropped the wrench I've been holding on my foot.

Mika: that stings. I really need to get myself a new ringtone.

Seriously... I mean I like the sound of something powering up but that was just loud. Maybe it's my environment.

Mika: Belfast?

Belfast... Somehow I feel like I'm gonna get my ass handed from her nagging later on.

Belfast: Master? Where are you?

Mika: I uh... I'm inside my room?

Belfast: Master... I'm the one inside your room.

Mika: *sigh* I'm on a different island...

I could almost see her face palm.

Belfast: Master, wherever you are. You need to come back...

Mika: by the time of your voice... They're at it again hm?

Belfast: indeed.

Mika: alright, I'll be there.

I finished up what I was doig and returned the plate armor over it. After turning off my phone.

Mika: for being somewhat abandoned for five years, you're still in peak condition.

I took off the leather apron and hung it on an old coat rack. I then went in a well maintained bathroom (thanks to me) and cleaned myself, making sure the smell of oil and metal are gone before returning to base.

Akagi: Who the hell told you that Shikkikan only belongs to you hah!?

Roon: I said so. Why would Kommandant enjoy a lesser woman than I?

I palmed my face... This really is getting out of hand... Luckily Taihou is nowhere to be found.

Taihou: Excuse me?

And I spoke too soon.

Enterprise: everyone, please. Calm down and talk it out.

Roon/Akagi: WE ARE CALM AND TALKING IT OUT!

Mika: alright alright, break it up.

Once I announced myself... A brown blurr tackled me down.

Akagi: Shikkikan! Where have you been! I have been so lonely!
