*Modern AU*
Your eyes slowly blinked open, adjusting to the bright light streaming through your windows. Your head was pounding and you started to roll over to get some more sleep, until you noticed the familiar head of platinum blonde hair resting on the pillow next to you. Memories of the night before came back in broken pieces, but you remembered Elsa caught her boyfriend with another woman and you took her to your favorite bar. You remembered drinking, probably more than you should've, and you remember the bartender calling a cab for the two of you. After that, everything is blank.
'Did we have sex?' You thought, but realized you were still fully dressed.
You figured she probably started crying and you told her to just stay with you. If someone had told you a year ago that Elsa would've been in your bed, you would've thought they were crazy.
*Flashback to a year ago*
You were taking an english class that you should've taken when you were a freshman. It was required to graduate from university, so you were suffering through it. You were assigned a big project, and the professor gave out partner assignments. Your partner was a very talkative girl named Anna. For the first couple of weeks that you were working on the project, you guys met at the school library to work on it. As the due date drew closer however, Anna invited you to work on the project at her house. You gladly agreed because you and Anna were becoming really great friends. On Friday after both of you got out of class, you packed a bag for the weekend and Anna drove the two of you to her house. She lived about an hour away from the university, so she frequently spent the weekends at home. Neither of her parents were home when the two of you arrived, and you set up at her dining room table to start making your presentation. A couple of hours later, the front door opened and then closed.
"Anna? Are you home?" You heard a voice call out.
"In the dining room." Anna answered.
A stunning woman walked in, someone you had seen around campus many times. You'd been in several classes with her. Elsa. Her eyes were concentrated on you, and you felt your face heat up slightly.
"I didn't know you were coming home this weekend, Snowflake." Anna said.
"Anna, don't call me that. I didn't have very much homework to do so I thought I'd take some time to relax." She answered.
"Elsa this is-" Anna started.
"Y/N. I know, we've had classes together." Elsa giggled, and your heart leapt.
'She knows my name.' You thought in disbelief.
"What are you guys working on?" Elsa asked.
"A big English 101 project." You replied.
"101? Aren't you supposed to take that as a freshman?" Elsa teased, sliding into the seat next to you.
"I didn't plan very well." You shrugged.
You and Anna continued to work but as you did, Elsa scooted her chair closer to you and helped you with the presentation. Later that evening, the three of you found your way into the living room to watch movies all night. Anna fell asleep before the second movie had gone off, laying on one of the couches. You chuckled when you heard her snoring, and you took the blanket you were wrapped in and laid it across her so she wouldn't get cold. You sat back down, and felt Elsa's eyes on you.
"You didn't have to do that." Elsa said.
"Shh, you're gonna wake her up." You smiled softly at the blonde before returning your attention to the movie playing on the television.
