Your parents had been trying to marry you off to Queen Elsa for a couple of years at this point and you had developed real feelings for the woman. You didn't know if she felt the same way, but part of you hoped she did. You glanced around the throne room and noticed a man who didn't look like he belonged in Arendelle. Soon, Elsa came in. You and the man both bowed, with Elsa looking flustered because of the attention.
"Princess Y/N, meet Prince Felix." She said, "He is here to try to unite our kingdoms, just like you are."
You breath hitched at the thought of anyone else getting to marry Elsa. You felt like an idiot for thinking she could ever feel anything for you, for thinking this wasn't just an opportunity to gain allies. Felix walked over to you and reached out his hand. You shook it, giving him a slight nod.
"Nice to meet you." You stated.
"You as well." He replied, walking back to the other side of the throne room.
Something about him just felt off, and you tried to catch Elsa's eye but she wouldn't look at you. Soon, her council was telling her that she needed to meet with Felix and his council to discuss what would happen if they were to marry. You skulked around the castle, having spent enough time there to know your way around. You made your way out to the garden, looking at all the flowers. Your eyes drifted to the light blue rose bush that was covered in blooms. You had always thought they were fake, but Elsa told you she had the trolls make them for her. She said that if something as beautiful as a rose could look so icy, her powers couldn't be all that bad. You wanted to tell her that her and her powers were the most beautiful thing you could think of.
"Hello Y/N." You heard a voice right behind you say.
You turned around, and there stood the woman who was occupying your thoughts.
"Your Majesty." You bowed.
"I thought we talked about that." She said, amused.
"We did, but I'm going to continue to do it. I respect you." You grinned at her.
"Admiring my 'fake' roses?" She teased.
"Maybe." You answered.
"Why?" She asked, stepping closer to you.
"I was thinking about the time you told me why you had them created. And how I was too scared to tell you that I thought you and your powers were the most beautiful thing I could think of." You admitted.
"Y/N... Do you mean that?" She looked up at you.
"Yes, absolutely I mean that." You smiled softly.
You watched as a light pink tinged her cheeks, and her hand slipped into yours. She rested her head on your shoulder so you couldn't see her blushing. The two of you stayed in the garden for a while, talking about different things. You didn't ask her about Felix, because you honestly didn't want to know how their meeting went. You wanted to blindly hope she would pick you over him. Elsa had to go to another meeting, with only her council and you made your way back inside the castle. As you were rounding a corner, someone grabbed you and pulled you into a room. You tried to see who it was, but you were knocked unconscious before you could make out who it was.
When you woke up, you were tied to a chair with a rope around your stomach and chest. Your hands were tied behind the chair, and your legs were bound together. Your eyes settled on the man in front of you.
"Prince Felix?" You questioned.
"Shut your mouth." He answered.
"What are you doing?" You asked.
