As the bell rings, I pick up my stuff and head to the door with Taylor. I still see Mr. Good Looking staring at me. Was it that I was pretty? Maybe I had makeup on my face... no, Taylor would've told me. Maybe I was the ugliest girl he'd ever seen and he just couldn't stop staring! No no, I had to get these thoughts out of my head. Taylor and I walk over to her locker, then mine. Some of her other friends came over and introduced themselves. I met Kylie who looked almost exactly like me, like we could be twins. Then I met Carmen who was a little taller than me and had light brown hair that was dyed blue at the ends. And lastly I met Lily, and she was really tan too, with dark brown hair. Wow, they all looked like models. Was I as pretty as them? I wonder if they were the popular girls in the school. No, the popular girls always got into trouble, and Taylor referred to Mr. Good Looking as, "the head of the bad boy crew," so I'm assuming she doesn't get into much trouble.
We were all crowded around my locker as I was being questioned while getting out my binders for my next class. I look over and saw none other than Mr. Good Looking coming my way. The other girls saw it too and gave me a look like, "Do you want us to get rid of him, because we can turn him around if you need us to." I just shook my head and as they were leaving to find a spot to spy on us, Taylor said, "We'll be over there if you need us."
I looked at him straight in the eye and said, "Hi." Oh no, I couldn't muster the courage to defend myself from his amazingly hot body and sexy smirk. He laughed while saying, "Hey, um, my name is Zach. I saw you walk into school this morning and thought 'I've never seen this girl before' so I wanted to uh- welcome you?" Wow, he seemed nervous, it was actually really cute. Wait, no Siena. He's putting on an act to get you to go out with him, it's just an act. "Um thanks, I think I have English with you, first period right?" I look over my shoulder to see my new friends casually looking at us from over their books. "Ya, sorry if I kept staring, you're just so beautiful it's hard to keep my eyes off of you..." I laughed while blushing and looking down, "Thanks, it's been a while since I've heard something like that." Wow his bright blue eyes could make any girl jump off the walls. "Well if you want to hear more of it, you should let me take you to the movies sometime," said Zach. "Sure, I'd love to." WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!?! "There's a horror movie playing at the theatre tonight if you wanna go," asked Zach. "Sure, but I have to warn you, I'm a huge wimp when it comes to horror movies," I said really concerned now not only that I'm going to a movie with a bad boy, but a horror movie. "Don't worry, I'll be there to protect you," he laughed. Oh lord his smile was so perfect. "I'm excited, should I give you my number so you know when to pick me up or..." "Oh right I completely forgot," Zach said rummaging for his phone now. He seemed genuinely nervous, huh, I've never know a bad boy to get nervous. I put my number in his phone and he put his in mine. "I'll text you later about the movie," he said walking away but stopped in his tracks and came back really quick. "I can't believe I forgot to ask for your name," he said looking me in the eyes. "Siena, it's Siena," I said looking him straight back in the eyes. "See you tonight Siena," said Zach walking away. Oh, this was only the start of something terrible, but it felt so right in the moment.
