Jason's POV

Jade smiled up at me, her eyes sparkling cutely. I'd missed her so much, and she'd grown up and matured amazingly in just two years. I couldnt believe how much older she looked either.

"Are you coming home?" Jade looked hopeful at me, her face joyful.

"Uhm," I hated to be the one to turn her joy into sadness, but I couldnt go home... not now, possibly not ever, "Jade, I cant... its not safe for me to be around too much, I'm still figuring out what I have to do, I'm sorry."

Jade frowned, "You're supposed to be there for me."

"Im sorry, it's just really hard right now..." I frowned, "You know I love you, Jade... you'll always be my baby sis, do you understand?"

"Yeah..." Jade stood up and glared at me, "I understand that you're scared... afraid of what Mum will think... what Dad will say... but grow up, everyone thinks your dead." Jade said, swallowing. I stared at her, sighing. "You dont understand how much your 'death' has effected everyone... Mum's not the same... and whether or not you see it, but life was better knowing you were safe and alive." She said softly, leaning in and giving me a hug, a kiss on the cheek and as she pulled away, she then slapped me across the cheek, "I better see you again, dont run off, Jasey." She smiled small, fixing the bag on her back, "I have to get home." Jade nodded, waving goodbye as she began to walk away.

"Bye Jade." I smiled small, my cheek throbbing in a little pain, but it was fine as I sighed softly. Was life really better with me around?

Justin's POV

"Thanks for coming, man." I shook Cole's hand, smiling.

"No problem, you on for that hockey game Friday?" He grinned and I nodded.

"Definitely, dude." I chuckled and waved him off as he left, leaving only Chaz, Ryan and Jake here.

"Hey, is there any food left?" Chaz asked, already raiding my fridge. I rolled my eyes at him, sitting on the couch in the nearby lounge room.

"Help yourself to the fridge, anyway." I shrugged, relaxing into the cushions.

"Hey, we should have a round of COD." Jake grinned, "I havent played for a while."

"I verse winner!" Ryan shouted in excitement, laughing a bit.

"Alright, but dont cry when I beat all your asses." I smirked, as Ryan, Chaz and Jake plopped on the couch too - Chaz stuffing his face with left over lasagna.

"Pfft, its on-"

Jake was cut off by the sound of my phone ringing. I groaned at the tone, hoping Scooter wasnt calling to tell me I had to work or travel...

"Hello?" I answered the phone, not wantingnto jinx anything by looking at the caller ID.

"It's C-Cole...." a voice stuttered, shakily.

"Oh uh hey, you just left... did you leave something?" I asked curiously.

"No..." Cole gulped, "You wont believe me if I told you who I'm staring at right now..."

"What?" I furrowed my brows, "Who?"

"I'm either going crazy and seeing ghost's, but Tyler is sitting on the bench in front of the church, feeding some kid..."

I rose a brow, "Dude... its impossible... he's dead..."

"Come down here and see it for yourself, I've never been more serious in my life." Cole stated, and I stood up.

"On my way."
