Phil PoV

The mood immediately lifted as soon as I got to school, I can't wait to see Chris and Pj. As I got out of the car I was immediately ambushed by Chris and Pj.

"Hey guys!" I laughed "I'm gonna get squeezed to death!"

"Sorry bro" Chris grinned "Just missed you over the summer"

Pj chimed in "Yea, too bad that you couldn't meet up, you're way too busy man!"

I just grinned "Sorry that I'm actually productive"

Chris and Pj gasped and clutched onto each other "Low blow man, low blow" Pj said

"Idiots" a mutter sounded from behind me

Chris and Pj glared past me "Go away Howell" Chris spoke up

"Yea, yea whatever" I turned around and saw the back of a brown-haired boy retreating into the distance.

"Who's he?" I asked in curiosity

"Daniel Howell. He's nothing but trouble, stay away Phil" Chris answered in a serious tone

"Okay then?" I shrugged then checked the time "we should get to class it's 8:10"

"Let's get going then" Pj and Chris set off and I followed my mind still deep in thought, what did this Howell guy do? And who is he? The questions were racing through my brain and I kept thinking about it as I sat down waiting for the lesson to start.

I was jolted out of my thoughts when I heard my teacher call my name

"Here sir" pull yourself together Lester you need to pay attention. I shook my head and got my notepad ready and got into the lesson smiling to myself.

~Line break~

"That wasn't that bad huh?" Pj joked

Chris grinned at him "It was easy Pj, only you ever find PCS hard"

"Hey!' Pj grinned and shoved Chris

"That hurt" Chris pouted

"You deserved it" Pj rolled his eyes a smirk on his face. I couldn't help but to giggle at the scene and in the short time I didn't look at the hallway I bumped into someone

"Oh sorry," I said turning back around to face a tall jet black-haired girl who had an annoyed expression on her face

"Whatever" she just rolled her eyes and turned away. I then noticed she was twirling a pair of scissors in her left hand. I felt my eyes widen.

"U-um...." I trailed off as she turned back with an almost murderous stare

"What."

"N-nothing!" I stuttered

"Of course" she rolled her eyes again (she was seriously gonna get eye pain) and left soon lost in the crowd of people.

"What was her problem?" Chris asked looking after at her

"Seems like she's got a few" Pj joked

"That wasn't funny Pj, what if she was just in a bad mood today?" I protested

"Chill dude, we were just joking about, and what's ruffled your feathers?" Chris answered. Pj wiggled his eyebrows "Has our little Phil gotten a crush~"

If only they knew.

"Course not Pj" I pushed him "Just think she might be more than just annoyed at life"

"If you say so" Pj shrugged

"C'mon let's go" Chris started moving forward and I followed still thinking about the two new people I met today...
