headcanons

• nancy looks like she's a snob . but honestly , she's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet . she's always trying to be there for those she's close to .

• one thing she's never forgiven herself for was barb's death , which she always sees as her fault for leaving barb to herself .

• nancy and rosa ( GoldHeartisms ) are extremely close . the two have a lot in common , and the two go shooting practice together . nancy loves the quality time together and enjoys the tranquility of it .

• nightmares are a common thing for her to have . she constantly relives her memories of the monsters , and usually can't sleep unless someone's with her .

• journalism is nance's passion - she wants to be the best journalist out there . currently ( after the chaos that happened from hawkins post ) she's working at another news outlet , working with paperwork .

• she's planning to leave hawkins in a few months to move in with jonathan - although she hasn't told anyone except jonathan that .

• her father - honestly nancy doesn't get on with him . at all . he preferred her relationship with steve because of who his parents was , and disproves of jonathan because of his social standing , which is one of the reasons nancy wants to move away . he keeps pushing her to get with steve again .

• speaking of steve , nancy feels guilty over what happened with her and him . she now tries to reconcile with him and the two are moving forward as friends .

• she has a coffee addiction . honestly she's grouchy without it in the morning . usually you'll find her in the morning wearing her dressing gown with dishevelled hair . it's best to give her time to wake up before trying to talk to her .

• nancy managed to keep jonathan's black denim jacket . she wears it when she misses him , so ... she wears it a lot .

• she refuses to smoke , but she drinks occasionally - most of the time when she's very stressed .

• nance makes more of an effort with the party now ( dustin && mike the most ) since the byers left . she enjoys their company , but she also does enjoy having people her age around her too .

• connor ( -ContagiousLaughter- ) and nancy are like siblings . she looks out for him like a sister would and he's got her back too .

• she doesn't do well with people , really . she's much more of an introvert , and prefers to stay around a couple of people at a time .
