Knuckles's POV:
"50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55! Whew!"
Finally, I finished lifting weights 55 times! I think my next goal should be 100..
I was outside lifting weight, it was about to get dark, so I decided to go ahead a get some rest, then I heard a knock on my door.
I opened the door and saw Tails waiting, "Oh hey Tails."
"Hey Knuckles! So..... you know how Sonic and Amy are supposed to go to the village and see if her friend cream is there?"
"Uh, yeah? Do you need me to go get Amy right now?"
"Yes, and instead of Sonic going with Amy, you are going to go with Amy."
"Wait! Why? Why isn't Sonic going?"
"Just go Knuckles, you two should be going right now, anyway, see you later!" Then he ran off back to his house.
Why couldn't Sonic go? It is not like he is busy doing something, ugh, whatever. Might as well go and get Amy and tell her that I am going with her.
I went upstairs to the guest room and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" Then I opened the door.
"Hey Amy."
"Yeah Knuckles?"
"Sonic won't be able to go with you to the village, so I will go with you, come on, before it turns morning."
"Huh? Wait! Why?"
"Look, I do not know, what meet me down stairs." I told her as Ieft to the front door.
Amy's POV:
Sonic wasn't going with me? But why?
Was it cause of the kiss..? Is he just as embarrassed as I am!?! Or did he have something to do..?!
I mean, yeah, it would have been awkward if Sonic and I went together, but maybe we could have talked about it?
Does Sonic even want to see me..? Probably not....
But how would Knuckles knows Sonic doesn't want to go.....? DID SONIC TELL KNUCKLES!?
Oh gosh....
I better stop think about it and think about it when me and Knuckles are walking to the village to my old house, I need to go to the front door before Knuckles gets mad.
I quickly ran downstairs and met Knuckles at the door, and we started walking to the village, this shouldn't be awkward, we are roommates after all!
Sonic's POV:
Whew, that was a close one.....luckily Amy is going with Knuckles....
But something inside me wants me to go with Amy! Not Knuckles....
But why do I feel this stuff with Amy? What makes her so special....
Well...she seems very strong and smart...she treats Shadow with respect even if he is being a jerk....she always works for things she wants and doesn't stop until she gets it, like how she always wanted to know where her friend, Cream, is....
She just seems so.....amazing....
UGH! Snap out of it Sonic!! There is no need to think stuff like that!! Get over yourself Sonic!
Hmm...I wonder if that girl will still be by the lake tomorrow....what was her name again? Sally wasn't it? Yeah...I think it was Sally...maybe she knows about me..?
Okay...yeah...tomorrow at 3:00PM I will go to the lake and see if she is there, and if she knows anything about me, or if she knows anything more about Eggman, maybe I can ask her what she meant for me to "Not go back."
Hopefully she is there.......
