Sonic's POV:

I was about to step through the hole and go back for Amy, but then I stopped myself and looked through the hole...

I had to think to myself....

Maybe Amy will be okay, maybe she will make it out by herself...

I started walking back over to where everyone else was. I stood there with my arms crossed. I am not going to go back. I will be here with everybody else and wait for Amy to escape.

Everything fell into silent for a little while. I heard Tails walking up next to me and looking at the building as well.

"Sonic, do you think Amy will be able to make it?" He asked looking up at me.

"I believe she will Tails. Amy is a really good fighter. She will be able to make it out."

"What made her get left behind in the first place? She was with us when you pushed the button. But when we made it out, she was gone in two seconds!"

"Actually...you are right! She was there when I pushed the button and she was also there while we were running to where we first got there...but now she had disappeared."

"If I do my calculations correctly. If a roof piece fell on her, the weight of it shouldn't be too heavy nor too strong. So if she got stuck underneath a fallen roof piece, she should have been able to escape out of it."

"Wow Tails. I guess maybe you could have been right."

I looked over at the outside of the shaking building. I could hear parts of the roof hitting the ground from the outside. But all of a sudden the walls started shaking more viciously than before!

Everybody was so confused on what in the world was happening. The walls kept shaking more and more violently. Then all of the walls fell down one by one.

SMASH! SMASH! SMASH!

Each time the walls fell down onto the ground, fog came to our way, making it harder for us to see and having us cough so much..

"Sonic...*cough* *cough* what is that thing over there..?" Tails pointed at while his eyes were squinting.

I looked over at where he was talking about, and I saw what he was talking about!

There was someone walking towards us! I couldn't makes out who it was since they were still pretty far away from everyone.

"Mr. Sonic...*cough* who is *cough* that over there?" Cream asked. I could tell that she was very worried...

The figure stopped and stood there looking at us. When it did, I started walking towards them. Luckily it wasn't windy so it was easy to walk, but at the same time it was super hard due to me now being able to see a lot of pretty much anything.

As I started getting closer to them, the more I was able to see them. I know who it was.....

"Amy!!!"

I started running to her...she was alright!!! But as soon as I did get to her, she didn't look so good....

"Amy..what happened..? Are you okay!?!"

"When we were running back to the main area...there was one robot left...it was short, but it was powerful....I tried to fight it, but I kept losing. I was laying down on the ground in defeat when the walls started shaking a lot. The robot got distracted by it, and that is when I started to run away. As soon as the walls started falling down, I ran to the ones that already fell down so I could escape..when I saw you and everyone else, I knew I had to get to y'all as quickly as possible. But I couldn't run, my legs were so sore from getting hit by that robot..."

What Amy had said terrified me! She has scratched all over her quills and face..she had a bruise on her legs. A little piece of her dress was torn off. She was in pain.

After looking at all of the damage that has gotten to her, she closed her eyes and started falling down. Before she could hit the ground, I caught her and carried her bridal style. By now all of the fog has dissapeared and I could see even more clearly now.

"Everything will be okay Amy. For now, you should just rest...."

Amy's POV:

I started opening my eyes very slowly, I could see the roof that was above me..I realized that I was in Knuckles's house!

I looked over next to me and I saw Blaze sitting in a chair next to me. She looked over at me and saw that I was awake and her eyes lit up.

"Amy! You are finally awake!"

"Yeah....what happened...?"

"Long story short, Sonic found you and took you to us. We than all went back home and he places you here to rest. Now everyone else is working on new homes for you, me, Rouge, Cream and her mom, and every other villager we have saved!"

After Blaze told me that, I could remember what had happened! And that is so nice of everyone to be building new houses for us!

After that, there was a knock on the door. Blaze called out for them to come in. And the person who stepped through the door was Sonic!

"Hey Blaze! How is-" he stopped and looked over at me. He ran to me and started hugging me!

"Amy! You are okay! Oh thank goodness you are!!"

I was shocked since it happened all of a sudden! But I couldn't help but hug Sonic back! Blaze saw this and giggled. She then got up and left while closing the door.

Sonic then stopped hugging me and looked at me with a smile. "I am so glad you woke up!"

I could tell that Sonic was super happy to see me awake.

"Thank you Sonic..."

His face turned from happiness, to confusion. "Huh? What do you mean?"

"You technically saved me! And thank you for that..!"

I could feel my face getting hot, and I could seen Sonic's face getting red as well.

There was something inside me that triggered something for me to do. And I went ahead and did it.

I gave a Sonic a kiss...but I am happy I did! He has done so much for me. I know a kiss isn't a lot. But I feel like the future has something planned for the both of us!
