The English Language Makes No Sense

Has anyone else noticed the English Language makes no sense and is really confusing?

Percy: Why is read past tense and present tense

Annabeth: It would be simpler to write if they were different

Percy: but why not just have a different word for past tense

Nico: Cause they want to confuse us. The world is so cruel

Leo: and u know how plural goose is geese

Hazel: Ya

Leo: Then shouldn't plural moose be meese

Hazel: OMG ur right Leo. Why isn't it

Jason: What is plural moose any ways?

Percy: I don't know

Thalia: And then shouldn't many caboose be cabeese

Annabeth: and one fleece be flooce

Frank: and football should be feetball since u use more than one foot

Leo: and baseball should be basesball since there is more than one base

Piper: and basketsball

Percy: and what's with homographs. The words are spelt the same but have different meanings

Hazel: why not have different words for the different meanings

Percy: exactly

Jason: and homophones. They sound the same but r spelt different

Annabeth: they should sound different if the r spelled different

Thalia: I agree

Leo: and u know how plural dwarf is dwarfs

Piper: ya. Everyone know that

Leo: well the rule says that to make a word plural that ends in f u change the f to ves

Piper: well ya

Leo: IT'S NOT LIKE THAT FOR DWARFS

Hazel: I never thought of that. Why is it like that.?

Nico: Because the people who made our language wanted to confuse us and make English difficult.

Nico: WHY WHY DID THEY HAVE TO DO THAT.

Annabeth: calm down nico. It's not the end of the world

Thalia: someone go to the hades cabin and make sure an army of undead don't come

Hazel: I'll go

Percy: We should all go just to make sure he doesn't kill everyone

Annabeth: of to the hades cabin we go
