Annoyance course through his veins as Jungkook marched out of the studio after practice, which did not go smoothly because of the foul mood Sohyun had put him in. Ever since last week, Sohyun and him had been arguing daily and Jungkook has decided that he's done.
Checking the time on his phone, he arrived at the lift lobby and was about to hit the button for the lift when he was greeted with a soft and gentle voice.
"Oh... annyeonghaseyo Jungkook-ssi... What a coincidence..."
Looking up from his phone, he found himself staring at a pretty... Dr. Kwon? What's she doing here?
"Oh, annyeonghaseyo, Dr. Kwon... Good to see you again. What brings you here?" Jungkook smiled slightly.
"Oh, your manager, Sejin, is my uncle. I was just having dinner and a drink with him."
The sight of her rosy cheeks and pale skin distracted him from his problem with Sohyun, but only for a moment. He knew his "talk" with Sohyun tonight would be one that'll drag into the night. And given his tired self, he would need to shift his X-ray to later in the day so that he can clock in a few more hours of sleep.
"Uh... Dr. Kwon... is it okay for us to postpone our X-ray tomorrow? To maybe 3pm? There... has been a change in my rehearsal schedule." Stuttering, Jungkook made up an excuse on the spot.
"That's strange, Sejin samchon didn't mention that to me just now. He must have forgotten..." Dr Kwon trailed on. "No worries, I'll let the administration rearrange the appointment for you and I'll text Sejin samchon once it's done."
Upon hearing that she would "text Sejin", Jungkook lost his composure and immediately insisted, "Wait! Uh... You... don't have to tell Sejin hyung about it."
Dr. Kwon eyes the jittery man in front of her and manages to put two and two together - he's probably sneaking out to have fun with some friends tonight.
Just as Hana was about to respond the lift dings and they both get into the elevator.
"You can come to the clinic anytime before 4pm, at your convenience." She looks at him and flashes a reassuring smile that made warmed his heart.
The lift dings again and she steps out as he held the door open for her.
"Goodnight, Jungkook-ssi. I hope your night goes well."
