Chapter: 6

Um, tiny suicide attempt I suppose, it isn't serious and there aren't actually feeling put behind the issue, nothing like self harm or self degrading, nor was he planning this. Just a spur of the moment thing..

I'm rambling, it'll make sense if you just read it.

3rd POV

They arrived and Kaminari and Shinsou were the first to get out, leaving the two boys in the car.

They had no need to get out right away, Midoriya had about 30 minutes till work actually started and Kirishima was working night shift at the coffee shop as always. Plus Kaminari would cover for them if they were late.

"You know, it's ok we aren't dating. Shinsou was just trying to tease, it doesn't matter, really-" Kirishima was cut off.

"That doesn't make me feel better Kiri! There's just things you don't know! About me! Things that I can't tell you! And I want to tell you, I want to tell you about the boy that I fell in loved with a long time ago, I want to tell you about how he is with me, I want to tell you all the things he's done, but I can't! I-" Midoriya shut up, slapping his hand over his mouth, tears brimming his eyes.

Shit.

That's all it took, all it took for Midoriya to blow up, some simple words of reassurance. He would've told Kirishima. He would've come out right then and there, spilled about him double crossing them, being a spy, what really happened when he was younger, why he ran away, Todoroki.

He would've spilled about Todoroki.

Midoriya took off his seat belt and rushed out of the car, leaving everything he brought with him where he sat. He rushed in the opposite direction of his work building.

There was a building around here, 35 stories tall, maybe he could get there, maybe he could just end it all and not lie anymore.

Not have to report to Todoroki, not have to lie. Lies was all that he seemed to be spewing lately. Lie after lie.

Leaving, killing himself, ending it all, it just seemed like the best way to escape from a situation that was going to get him killed anyways.

"Mido! Wait!" Kirishima called after him.

Great.

Midoriya ran faster, finding the building. He ran up the fire escape, which he wasn't to fond of considering he didn't particularly like heights, but he kept going until he reached the top of the building.

Kirishima was right on his tail, that's what he gets for not working out these 3 weeks, or however long he's been there.
Midoriya stopped looking behind him and just ran to the edge, jumping.

But of course, a hand grabbed his wrist.

Midoriya finally had it, it was time to blow his cover, even if he'd pay for it later.

"Please, just let me jump. I can't stay here anymore. I'm not who you think I am. I was sent by the boy I loved to infiltrate your guys' gang, but I love it here. You all make me feel so included. Like I'm family. I don't want to take you down, but when I don't, Todoroki will come and kill me for being a traitor. Just let me go Kirishima." Midoriya was still hanging off the edge of the 35 story building with nothing but Kirishima's hand keeping him from life or death.

Kirishima finally pulled Midoriya over the railing, pulling him into a hug. "We'll protect you, I promise. If you don't want to take us down, then don't. You do what you want to do. Forget Todoroki, that's twice now that you've said loved instead of love, if you don't want to do his bidding, quit. You'll be safe here, though you'll need to be asked a few questions."
