It was the end of the week, and boy, Yaoyorozu was not joking when she said they would treat him like family. So far, there have been no conflicts, no fighting, Midoriya doesn't even think he's heard anyone yelling. Save Bakugou. But he's always yelling for one reason or another.
"Come on Mido~" Then there was Kirishima. His driver, chef, personal alarm clock, and coffee maker. Of course, those jobs were self assigned by none other than Kirishima himself. As they grew closer throughout the week, Kirishima had added personal best friend to the list.
All of this was making him more and more nauseous about why he was really here.
It was supposed to be just a job. He wasn't supposed to love it here. To love when Mina makes sure he's ok when he trips, to love when Sero somehow has everything on camera, to love Kirishima's cooking, to love Kaminari's crackhead energy. To love Yaoyorozu's dedication, Uraraka's goofiness, Shinsou's amazing coffee making skills(even though he uses a machine). Everything about it.
He was ashamed to even admit it bit, a few time throughout the week he had actually forgotten he was on a mission. It was just him, and the family he was being given.
"I don't wanna~" Midoriya whined as he was dragged out of the comfortable bed he was given.
Kirishima had actually used his day off to decorate so now it was basically a library. And Midoriya loved it. He would read whenever he got the chance, and he loved the feeling he got, knowing Kirishima cares enough to listen to the little things he says.
"Bakugou will literally kill you if you are late, come on, I have a coffee made for you, and work shouldn't be too tough. It's Friday. Nothing happens on Fridays."
Midoriya stumbled around his room. "Fine."
-----
Oh boy was Kirishima wrong.
Midoriya came back with a limp in his step. He definitely wasn't feeling great either.
"Kiri, I'm just going to take a walk ok? It been a long day." Midoriya mumbled. He wasn't to thrilled about reporting back to Todoroki either.
Kirishima looked weary of the idea. "You sure? You want a temporary boot or something?"
"No no." Midoriya waved off the idea. "I need to exercise it, for it to heal and all, it'll be ok. See you later." Midoriya said, waving goodbye.
After walking down many, many hallways, Midoriya made it to the front of the mansion. He stretched his arms in the air. He loved the front of the mansion. It was on the outskirts of the town so it was surrounded by trees in the back, but had little dirt gravel roads in the front.
It was peaceful, unlike the mansion Todoroki had gotten for the gang. It was surrounded by highways upon highways. That's all you could hear at night.
Midoriya started walking. His foot hurt like a bitch. It wasn't broken, so sprained most likely. This wasn't going away with a simple walk.
"Hey Midoriya!" Yaoyorozu called out, just a greeting.
"Hey Yaomomo! I'm going on a walk! I also already had dinner, so don't worry. I'll be back in an hour or two." Midoriya shouted. They were a far distance apart, but you could hear each other as Midoriya kept walking.
"Don't be out too long after dark!" There she was. The second mom of the family. The responsible one that always made sure work was done and you were home at an ok time. Then there was Mina, she was always considered a mom, even if she was the one that would catch you sneeking out to a party and then drive you there herself. Then probably join the party.
