POV: Blair
Location: The Dark Forest few miles outside of Plagg Kingdon
Time: 6: 38pm

"Hey!" I yell when Layla splashes me with water. I had dropped the pretty stones I had collected to protect myself by using my arms to cover myself. I'm not one to swim, but today was hot out in the forest, so we decided to take a break and go swimming by the hidden waterfall both Darya and Dustin helped create.

Darya was the wielder of water, and Dustin was the wielder of Earth. I controlled nature, which some people would say is the same as Earth, but it's different. Dustin can handle the ground, rocks, soil, anything ground, or rock-related. I control trees, plants, and even speak the tongue of a few nature animals.

"Hey, guys! Wanna see something cool?" I turn to see both Tempest and Aither on the shore, waving at us. They had gone off to practice a new trick they were working. Tempest was excited about the scheme because it would help her practice her lightning skills and give us, as a group, a new fighting skill. Aither was the wielder of air and can change wind directions at any given time or even move clouds.

We watch as Aither lifts Tempest with his air powers, and Tempest makes sparks on her fingertips and shoots them up at the sky. As the sparks go up, they would explode, creating a firework with bright colors. I smile, knowing this was something the group would enjoy since we rarely ever get breaks. As the leader of the pack, I always try my best to give us chances to take breaks.

Unfortunately, our fun had run out as I heard what sounded like horses approaching us at alarming rates. I use my powers and make vines go up and bring Tempest back to the ground.

"Hey! What was that for!?" Tempest yelled, giving me one of her usual glares.

"The sound from your firework show alerted nearby hunters our location!" I yell back.

Everyone turns around as a hunter, along with his henchmen, emerges out of the forest. One of the henchmen shoots at us but thankfully misses, and I signal to the others, and we shift into our wolf forms as we all runoff. I run as fast as I can, hoping the others had followed me. After a good 10 minutes of running, I stop and see everyone had followed me except for one.

"Where's Layla?" I ask the group.

They look among each other and talk, but they seem to have no clue where Layla had gone. I begin to worry knowing that the hunters could be anywhere, and if they hadn't followed us, they most likely followed Layla.

"Everyone disperse! Try to pick up Layla's scent and meet back here in 5 minutes," I say to the others. They nod, and we all separate and sniff around, trying to pick up her scent. I get unlucky and head back, but thankfully when I came back, Olwen, the wielder of Ice and Snow, had found her scent.

We follow Olwen as we follow Layla's scent, and all I can do is pray that Layla is alright. I notice Olwen slowing the group down, and I go up the front, and we approach an opened area in the woods where ruins stand, showing that once a building once stood here. I notice Layla asleep against one of the pillars and a boy in a red suit standing in front of Layla. I look around to see the hunter and his henchmen knocked out cold on the ground, and I notice the boy pull a tranquil from Layla's arm.

I wondered if she was tranquilized and fell asleep or fell asleep and got tranquilized to ensure she slept for quite some time. I signal to the others to stay hidden behind the bush we were watching from, and I leave the safety of the bush and approach the boy. He hadn't sensed I was even here, and he gave me a startled look as he seemed to do a stance as if protecting Layla. I pay no attention to him and focus on Layla, and I approach her and check her for any signs of injury.
