After breakfast, Dipper says "hey Candy, want to head down to my lab with me?" "I'd love to" his girlfriend replied. "It's fine with me, but no funny business, I know how people on their mid-teens are," Ford and Stanley said in unison.
"And finished," a sweaty Dipper said after adding a flamethrower setting to his plasma rifle. He walked out and began to melt the snow around the Mystery Shack. After about an hour, Gravity Falls was snow-free.
Once they got to Candy's house, Dipper said: "have a nice day bye!" "Same to you. Also, I have a feeling that plasma rifle of yours is going to come in handy someday" Candy replied. Dipper walked home and saw Ford on the porch. "Come, I have something to show you," Ford told the teen. Ford took Dipper behind the vending machine and down to a new floor of the house. "I give you your own private study. Here you can keep all your experiments and inventions. I started working on it when you finished your unlimited energy solution." Ford announced. "Wow, thanks!" Dipper replied.
After dinner, Ford and Dipper went down to the lab while Stanley had Soos, Wendy, and Candy help him prepare for a welcome back party for Mabel, Melody, and Grenda.
While in Ford's lab, Ford said: "Dipper, I think Bill has returned, but not to our dimension yet." "What do we do?" Dipper asked. "We need to think this through, but more importantly, don't tell anyone. You proved to me that I could trust you 2 years ago, don't fail me. We also should call Fidleford" Ford answered. "My lips are sealed." The teenage boy replied. "Now, leys get some rest, we have 3 people coming back tomorrow. One of which had a statue of her and you in the center of town." Ford said. And with that, the two went to bed.
