It was Mabel's last day Gravity Falls. "I guess I'll see you next summer then," Dipper said. "I guess so, good luck studying Gravity Falls" Mabel replied. They gave each other a hug, and then Mabel boarded the bus. After about an hour, Grenda left for Austria 🇦🇹. Once Grenda left, Dipper, Stanley, Soos, and Stanford went to the Mystery Shack.
"Stanley and I have discussed this, and you are to work at the shack from 8-4 every weekday, then, you are free till dinner at 7 pm. After that, you may shower and brush your teeth. I expect you to be in my lab ready to work for me till 3 am at around 9:00 pm. We go on adventures on Saturdays, Sunday your free. Also, from now on you are to address me as Ford, nothing else." Stanford told the teen. "Ok, I understand" Dipper responded. "Good, now what is for dinner? I'm hungry" Stanley asked.
"Woah, dude, that's a lot of responsibility, sure you can handle it?" Soos asked. "I think I can Soos, and besides, Ford asked me to write journal #4!" Dipper responded. Soos gave Dipper a thumbs up and then left.
"Seriously, dinner?" Stanley said.
During dinner, Ford said "So kid, I have been thinking, and I have decided to give you a phone I built so I can contact you. You may have friends and family as contacts, but you must not be obsessed with it. It has unlimited talk and text, and it was unlimited data." Dipper opened his mouth to say "wow, thanks, Ford!" "Your welcome" he replied.
After dinner, Dipper showered, brushed his teeth, and went to Ford's Lab to work.
