Dipper and Candy go on a walk around town. "Hey Dipper, why did you stay and Mabel leave?" Candy asked. "Well, Ford offered me an apprenticeship, and I took the offer," Dipper said. The two talked and walked until they got back to Candy's house.
"Well, it was nice seeing you Dipper, if you have a phone, my number is 5555296150." Candy said. "It was nice, my number is 5555296148" Dipper replied.
Dipper walked back to the Mystery Shack and saw that it was 6:30 pm. He walked up to his room and started writing the introduction to journal 4. After about half an hour, Dipper ate pasta for dinner with Stanley and Ford.
After dinner, he and Ford went down to the lab. "Hey Ford, I think that we could figure out how to obtain unlimited energy," Dipper told Ford. "That's great! You work on that while I make sure that everything is good for our adventure tomorrow, we are exploring the forest for creatures that haven't been discovered yet. And you are going to put them in your journal." Ford replied.
Dipper and Ford went out the next day. (Dipper had baked a whole ton of pancakes the day before so Stanley could still sell them at the Mystery Shack while he was gone). Once they got back, they walk into the gift shop. "Hey Dipper, how was your adventure? And also, what's that on your face?" Wendy asked. "Great! We found 3 new creatures never before seen! And also the stuff on my face is polpus pus. Polpus is a creature we found. Now, I am going to wash this stuff off of me." Dipper replied.
After Dipper showered, he went down to Ford's lab to ask him a question. "Hey Ford, can we talk?" Dipper asked. Ford responded with "well Dipper, I realized that this time would come. You see, you might be noticing some changes as you grow older." "Actually, nevermind," Dipper said. He then went upstairs to talk with Soos. "Hey Soos, how do you know if you love someone. Like with you and Melody?" Dipper asked. Soos responded with "well Dipper, you get that feeling, you want to live to rest if your life with that person, you want to protect them at all costs, to the point where you fight your crazy digital ex." "Thanks Soos, bye!" Dipper yelled as he ran out the door.
