Tay's POV.

"Are you going to tell Olivia about Donald's sentence?"Nate asks as I drive into the empty road. Donald got sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of applying for parole. And we found out David was sentenced to 10 years.

"I don't know. She is not answering my calls."I tell Nate and he stays silent for the rest of the drive to the restaurant since we haven't eaten anything.

Half an hour later, I pull in front of the small restaurant and we climb out and walk to the door. We walk to the booth at the back away from everyone's eyes.

"Hi, what can I get you guys?" a girl asks holding a notepad.

"I will have a cheese burger with fries and sprite," Nate tells the girl and I look at the menu.

"I will have Kota with sprite too," I say when I spot it on the menu, reminding me of the time Olivia took me to the township.

"Okay," the girl says and walks away. I place the menu down and find Nate staring at me like I have grown two heads.

"What?" I ask.

"What happened to township food is gross and unhealthy?"

"And how the hell do you know Kota? "Nate asks still staring at me like I'm crazy.

"Stop staring at me like that. It's creepy." I lean back on my seat.

"Olivia and I once went to a small restaurant she used to go to, and made me try it."I shrug.

"Why can't I seem to make you do things but Olivia can?" he pouts and I chuckle.

"Because you are not my wife."

"But am your bother?" he whines.

"So?"

"That should count"

"Well, you don't warm up my bed at night." Before he can respond the girl comes back with our orders.

"Can I get you guys anything?" She asks.

"No, thank you, "I say, she nods and walk away. I grab the ketchup and pour it on the fries.

"When are you leaving?"I ask and place a fry in my mouth. I will be all alone when he leaves.

"Next week," he answers and I take a bite of my Kota.

"I'm proud of you little bro. I know I don't say it often, but I am."I tell him and he smiles at me.

"Thanks"

An hour later, we pay for our meal and walk to the door. I bump into something on my way to the door.

"I'm sorry" I apologize.

"Tay?" a familiar voice says and I turn to find Ria staring at me.

"Ria!"I say and a small smile plays on her lips. She looks different. I have no idea when was the last time I saw her. I never thought in a million years I will see her again. Our break up was nasty.

"Um, It's nice to see you again," she says and shifts, and I notice a man holding a baby standing next to Ria.

"Um, this is my husband, Jason," she informs and I shake the guy's hand.

"Nice to meet you. Tay Payne."I inform.

"I know," he says with a small blush on his face and I chuckle. Sometimes I forget I'm not a normal man with a normal life.

"I love what you did with both companies. You are an inspiration, you don't know how long I have been trying to get an appointment to pitch to you. And now you are here in front of my eyes." he rambles and Ria rubs his back to make him calm down.

"Breath babe," she says and to say it's weird to watch Ria been like that with him is an understatement.

"Why didn't you tell me you knew Tay Payne personally?" he emphasizes my name to make his point.

"You never asked, "Ria says and Nate chuckles beside me.

"Does he leave under a rock or something? Everyone knows you and Ria used to date"Nate whispers next to me.

"About That?"I turn to Nate.

"I had everything that associated me with Ria removed, maybe that's why he doesn't know, "I inform.

"Um, do you have a minute?"Jason asks breaking Nate and I's conversation.

"I'm afraid no, but here is my personal number."I take out the small card from my pocket and hand it to him.

"Give me a call next week and I will try to squeeze you in." he nods looking at the card like it is the most fascinating thing in the world.

"See you soon, "I say to Jason. Nate and I walk out.

"Are you ever going to tell me what happened between you and Ria?" Nate asks as he opens the passenger door.

"Nop," I say popping the 'p'.

"Tay wait?" a voice shouts and I look up to Ria running in my direction.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" I sigh and nod. Nate climbs in the car.

"Um, I wanted to apologize for trying to ruin your relationship with Olivia. And for lying to you about the pregnancy. It was stupid and I was not in the right space in my mind. I didn't mean to hurt you and the blackmail. I guess I was..."

"You are rambling "I comment and she shuts up. She gives me a lazy smile and pulls her lower lip between her teeth.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry for everything. "She says and watches me.

"It's okay. Long forgotten. " She releases a deep breath and her shoulders relax.

"Thank you."I nod.

"See you around. "I say and hop in the driver's seat. I drive into the busy road and drive home.

"Today seems like it's a day of surprises," Nate says when I pull into the driveway and park next to Nora's car. Olivia is seating in front of the door in legging and an oversized gray hoodie. Nate and I hop out of the car walk towards the door.

Olivia stands up and tucks her hair behind her ear.

"Hi," I say to Olivia, and Nate glares at me but I ignore him.

"Hi"

"I'm going to see Rachel, so..."Nate grabs my car keys from my hand.

"It was nice to see you again sister-in- Law," he says and walks away.

"Um, want to come in?"I mentally smack my head for asking such a stupid question. I don't know why my brain can't seem to form a good question.

I unlock the door and enter with Olivia following behind. I place the house keys on the kitchen island and turn to face Olivia, and what happened next shocked me to the core.

Olivia grabs my face and molds our lips together. I stumble back a little taken by surprise but manage to wrap my arms around her waist and kiss her equality hard.
