Torn Between Blue And Grey

sometimes i hate my brain!!...

"Mama say's their will be boys like you tearing my heart in two" is blasting through the radio and i suppress the urge to groan. Why did i even tell Jesse to be in charge of music for the journey. I've been driving for thirty minutes now and i am taking directions from google map since Jesse sucks in that area.. Jordan hasn't spoken a word and i keep stealing glances at him, while driving.
He looks so peaceful with his eyes closed and leaning backwards into the seat.
I turned and focused on driving to the location, shaking my head and discarding whatever thought that was..
Jesse and katie in the backseat are whispering to each other and giggling.
The other car Dan's in are not in sight. I must have really sped off..
I see a sign say 'cliff-fall' well this is it according to google and i did a right turn, driving further till i came to a stop simply because the path is blocked by a big log.. I turned around and see Jesse and katie kissing
'Okay that was fast' no wonder they didn't see me slowing down.
I cleared my throat "we are here" i said loudly..
They stopped kissing and turned to look around the surrounding. Katie was red as a tomato, unable to meet my eyes, I smirked at her in the rearview mirror and mouthed details later and she blushed deeply at that,
I chuckled.
Jordan opened his eyes to take a look around, he did a faint nod to himself and got out of the car not waiting for anybody and starts walking ahead.
I turned to Jesse at the backseat..
"Is he always like that?" I asked.
"Nope, but right now something's bothering him and he won't say." he replied.
"I see"
"Come on let's go, I'll show you guys the way, James and the others will be here later, they had to pick somethings" Jesse said.
No wonder they weren't in sight i thought, closing the car door. I made sure all doors were locked and followed behind the soon to be couples with my backpack in hand.

I pulled out my phone from my shorts and checked the time. It say's 1:15 pm. I sighed, still a long day ahead.
"We are here" Jesse called out. I lifted my head up and i am blown away by the view, it's breathtaking.
It looks like a beach but normal beaches don't have a side waterfall and small thatch houses which you can sit and relax in. The water is so clear, like a sky blue colour and the sand pure white.
I breathe in the freshness of everything and for once feeling a bit calm. I don't recall the last time i came to a beach to relax and not dump a body.
Yeah no joke, actually, bodies of fraudsters, gang leaders, women and men working with someone pops doesn't like.

Katie comes by my side.
"Peaceful right" she says and smiled
I turned to her and did a faint smile
"Yeah it is" i replied.
"Where's Jesse?" i asked.
"Over there" she answered, and pointed downwards to the boys arranging a spot.
"Come on" i said, and we started walking towards them.

"So you and Jesse huh" i said nudging her shoulders and wiggling my eyebrows teasing her, She blushes.

"Well I've had a crush on him since preschool and i guess if you didn't save me from Tasha back then and asked to be friends i wouldn't be here and did you see, he kissed me oh my gosh" she squeals touching her lips as if she can't believe that happened.

"Glad i could help, i say winking but I'll have to question him about his intentions though and that gets her smiling.
We reach where the boys are setting a group thatch house..
"Need a hand" i asked Jesse.
"Nah we've got this, y'all job is to put on a bikini and look hot" he said and i came closer and slapped him upside the head.
"Don't be a creep" i scowled.
He chuckled, "I'm just playing but we are good." I nodded an okay and sat down with katie on a chair from one of the houses made setting my backpack by me and yes Jordan still hasn't said a word to me not that i should care but my stupid brain can't seem to rest at the fact that he's avoiding me and what annoys me most is i don't know since when i started caring about these things..

I am playing COD on my phone when i heard..
"We are here so the fucking party can start"
I paused the game and raised my head up..

Let me tell you guys, at that moment i wished i never agreed to coming because walking towards us, was Daniel and some chick, I'm guessing a friend of Tasha, Jason and Tasha, James and another girl and some football jocks with other random girls.

I groaned loudly, at that Jesse, katie and even Jordan turned to look at me with questioning stares.
I just shrugged, "i hate crowds" i answered. Jesse chuckled shaking his head.
Katie nodded in agreement and surprise surprise Jordan smirked so faintly, if i wasn't watching in his direction i could have missed it.

Dan comes to my side and placed an arm on my shoulders.
"Hey babe" he said.
"Don't you put your arms on me.. Lord knows where they've been" i shivered in disgust.. He chuckled and answered "these hands are only for you" at that Jordan got up abruptly from his seat, saying he's going for a quick view, walking away from the group..

It's been 10minutes since he said he was going for a quick view and still not here..I'm getting ticked off by this because my brain won't shut up with the words "go find him".
The group right now, everybody is occupied. Tasha and Jason kissing, completely ignoring me which believe me I'm thankful for.
Jesse is sitting close to katie talking and blushing to each other. Dan is with the same bimbo and the rest of everyone either drinking or making out, which makes me the odd member.
I turned to Dan "I'll be right back" i said..
He mumbled an "okay" and i realized his mouth is occupied by the bimbo's tongue shoving down his throat..
I shivered at that, walking away and promising myself no more intimate contact with Dan.
