Star Gazing

Sitting in the long grass, it flowing drastically like the salty sea water

Among the chirping birds and buzzing bees, I sit in the sunlight with a smile painted on my face

As you trace the fluffy rice coloured clouds with the tips of your fingers

Contemplating if the sky's the limit

We are taken to a different world with our imaginative brains

Alongside each other as the sun turns to sunset then glowing stars

We lay here stargazing , watching the world go bye in a silent minute

"We never really talked about how we feel," he said

And I simply just laughed as he was the one who didn't want to open up
