Chapter 2- Flashback

Percy's P.O.V

It was around 8 A.M when I went to the graveyard, today I was meeting Steve to ask about World War 2 and to tell him about the family timeline.

I was at Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, and Leo's grave site. I was staring at the graves and remembered how they died.

Flashback

The seven and the gods were at Greece. I looked around, Jason took a arrow for Piper, but Piper died anyway from a stab to the heart. Leo died from a Empousa. Frank died because his stick burned out. Hazel died from evil Cyclops smashing her. I couldn't tell where Annabeth was, I was worried about that.

I looked back over to Gaea and my blood froze, there in her hand...was my Wise Girl. "ANNABETH!"

I ran over with my sword just as Gaea let go of her limp body. Tears were in my eye, I checked her pulse. It was going down, "Annabeth, "I choked on a sob.

"Seaweed Brain, re-remember our con-conversation and no self-self killing please." She choked on some of the words. Her breathing was getting harder. All the gods were tied up with the rope that depletes their energy. When Annabeth took her last breath I was glowing red. I wanted revenge.

The gods looked scared, the trees started to die along with the flowers, my footprints left ice footprints instead of mud. Rain started to pour hard, the waves grew. I was angry, I was angry at Gaea.

"Gaea you will die, come out and fight!"

"Fool child, you can not defeat me."

With that I used the water in the air and river and lifted Gaea from earth into the air, I took my sword and stabbed her. We both had cuts on us for we had a small battle that I didn't want to remember.

When Gaea went back to sleep I released the gods. I went over to Annabeth's body and sat down tears brimming my eyes, my father knelt down and pulled me into a hug. I broke right then crying for everyone I lost, Luke, Annabeth, Silena, Beckendorf, Leo, Jason, Hazel, Frank, Piper, and many more. I cried for what felt like hours.

My father calming me down telling me he would visit soon, he was a father right then and there. When I was mostly down crying he picked me up and we teleported to Cabin 3. He set me down in my bed and I slept peacefully. He kissed my forehead and then flashed out.

Flashback Over

When I wiped the tears that threatened to spill I felt a hand on my shoulder. I jumped and looked up to see...Steve.

"What are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing?"

"My friends died here...You?"

"I'm visiting my army buddies that died because I failed them."

I muttered, "I know what that feels like." I hope he didn't hear me that would be awkward.

"Anyway, we're still meeting around 3 right?"

"Yeah, but do you want some hot chocolate or something, I'll buy?"

I wiped my tear brimmed eyes on my sleeve and said, "Thanks, last year they died and I visit them every year and talk."

He nodded and we went out to a hot chocolate place near here. I told him what my friends were like, when I was talking about Leo he seem to understand what it was like to deal with him.

It was around 12 when we were done with hot chocolate and I asked him, "Want to come over for lunch? My mom is making sandwiches and cookies that taste like heaven?"

I looked shocked that I asked him that question but said, "Why not...lead the way."

With that I lead him to my mom and Paul's apartment. I took the key from th top of the door and let him threw.

"Mom, we have a quest. Another plate please."

"Ok Perce."

With that Paul came and lead Steve to the kitchen.

We all talked and when all of us were done it was around 12:45 P.M and Steve had to go back over to STARK TOWER to let the team know where he was.

When he left I remembered during the centauri attack where I saved Tony's life from living in outer-space.

Flashback

It was the centauri and when Loki tried to take over. I was in New York minding my day when one entered the subway I was in. Steve saved us and I went out, I put on my hoodie and mask and helped out in the attacked. I used water to help other people that were trapped. When I look up to see Iron Man going into the portal.

I waited for him to come back along with his team, I was on a building then the portal started to close and I knew Tony still had some time before reaching it. So i decided to help, I used all my strength and had the water go and grab tony and bring him back. It was like a giant water fountain, the water sprang up and threw the portal, I grabbed Tony and got him through the portal before it closed all the way.

I placed Tony gently on the ground while his team went ot him. I let go of the water and made it rain above him. I made sure not to get him wet for the suit he was in was electronic. I noticed Captain America look my way real quick then his attention went back over to Iron Man. I was over the news for about 3 months then they stopped showing me which I was thankful for.

When Captain America looked away I quickly left to make sure no one else saw me. I took off my hoodie and mask and left to go back home.

Flashback Over

After the Flashback I went to my backpack and tok out my homework. Oh joy. Not my sarcasm. It is now 1 P.M, can't wait until 3 to see Steve to have him help me with my History.

2 hours later

I had my skateboard and arrived at STARK TOWER. "Umm, hello could I see Steve Rogers?" I asked the front desk lady. Her name tag looked like ahSar, I knew that was wrong. I concentrated and it respelled Sarah. Makes more sense.

She told me to go on up. I did not expect what I saw. Today was Friday and just wow... my mind was blown.
