Chapter 9- Gods

Percy's P.O.V

Getting to know Steve was pretty cool. I found that I had a lot in common with him. I just haven't decided when to tell the Avengers about the other patrons of gods.

I was deciding that I would do it today doing breakfast. The one that I was currently at. I was eating my pancakes and decided to tell them then and there.

"Greek gods are real too." Honestly I didn't mean to be that blunt about it but my ADHD mind was all up for it. I felt so much heat to my face that it was just annoying.

Pushing the heat away I noticed that got everyone's attention. "What do you mean?" Clint asked while narrowing his eyes.

I raise my hands in surrenders, "What I mean is that the Greek gods among other are still alive and breathing today." I say slowly carefully choosing my words.

"How would you know?" Tony asked.

"Well I'm guessing you read my father and found that I don't have a father listed...?" I said

"Yes..." Bruce said but I could tell that they pieced together the information.

"Well, my father is really Poseidon the greek god of the Seas and more blah stuff." I said waving my hands around for dramatic, blame family blood...wait gods don't have DNA so...forget it I scolded myself for getting of topic.

The reactions were all different, Tony looked like he got a new machine to solve, Bruce looked interested, Clint looked excited but cautious, Natasha narrowed her eyes, and Steve looked confused.

I shifted in my seat uncomfortably, Bruce broke the silence, "Where do they live?" He wondered

"They live in America, actually right here in New York. They move with the heart of the west. Their other personality is their Roman side but that's another story for a later day." I said

Tony and Bruce got what the heart of the west mumble jumble while the others just went along with the answer. "So you're related to a god, that makes you a demigod like Thor?" Steve asked slowly trying to understand to whole, Greeks gods are real stuff.

I nodded my head in response, "Yeah but there are other patrons of the gods, some I still haven't met or do I want to but they to attend some meetings.

"What day is that?" Clint asked

I shrugged, "Don't know only the main gods know."

After discussing more about the Greek gods and other deities I looked at the clock and said that I was going to a friends house.
