Saxon's POV

The following morning wasn't as hectic as I thought it would be. Percy, Cedric, and I all had our trunks packed already but the twins, Alex and Harry were scrambling to pack theirs. Cedric and I were laughing but I helped the others pack so that we could leave on time. My dad is a stickler for punctuality and all of us knew this from his class, but it appears that some people also forgot that Dad was one of the people taking us to the station. It was to be Dad, Mr. and Mrs. Diggory and Father is going to come too but he is going to be under heavy glamours so that he doesn't get recognized. Once all of us were ready we each got paired up with an adult.

"Alright. Severus you take Alex and Harry. Mr. Diggory, can you take the twins please and Mrs. Diggory, can you take Percy. I will be right along with Saxon and Cedric." Father said.

Everyone nodded and they each grabbed the assigned children. After everyone left Father turned to us.

"Alright. Now that they have left, I have another request for the two of you. I know that I have already asked you to search the castle, but I have another assignment for you. I would like for you to also work on getting the school united, try to get someone from each house to help you out." Father said.

"Okay. Well, we have Slytherin covered by me, the twins, and Gemma. Cedric covers Hufflepuff. Lee has Gryffindor covered so really; we just need Ravenclaw. Well, I guess Percy would cover Ravenclaw..." I said.

"We should find a Ravenclaw. I don't know if Percy counts for Ravenclaw since he spends more time with Slytherin than he does Ravenclaw." Cedric says.

"True." I replied.

"What are you two on about?" My father asked.

"Percy is a Slytherclaw." I replied.

"I see." Father said.

"Well, if that's all. We should get going or we are going to be late." I said grabbing my trunk.

Father nodded and Cedric also grabbed his trunk. We both grabbed one of Father's arms and he apparated us to the platform. When we arrived, I said goodbye to father knowing he wasn't staying and was heading home. Cedric spotted his parents, so we headed over to them. My brothers were nowhere to be seen but the Prewetts were talking with Dad. When we got over to them Cedric's parents pulled him into a hug, and they shared their goodbyes.

"Saxon. Can I have a word with you." Dad said.

I nodded and he pulled me aside.

"Saxon. As you know Cedric is a Vampire. You two will need to be careful, I will see what I can do to get you some extra privileges, but I can't promise anything." Dad said.

"What do you mean by extra privileges?" I asked.

"Well. As his mate you are the only one that would be able to calm him down. You will need the privilege to leave any class if something happens to him, you will also need to keep an eye on him and make sure that he feeds normally. If he doesn't feed, then he could go into a bloodthirst. If he goes into a bloodthirst, he could end up harming someone and could even drain someone completely which is another reason you will need to be aloud to leave class. While feeding on anyone or any animal satisfies a vampires thirst, feeding on their mate's blood satisfies them faster and requires them to drink less. While at the manor his father made sure he fed off of the animals that we have there for me to feed from whenever your father is too busy, and originally we got them while I was pregnant because when a vampire is pregnant they don't like to feed from their mate as that would add more of their mate's magic into the mix and change the chances of the child's inheritance. At Hogwarts we don't have animals for vampires to feed from so whenever there is someone with a vampire inheritance their mate or a close friend gets extra privileges to leave class if something happens with the vampire. For me it was Lily Evans until our falling out then the privileges were transferred to Sirius Black's younger brother Regulus since my mate was not at the school." Dad explained.

"Why did his father want him feeding off animals and not me? He will eventually have to bite me so why didn't his father want him to feed from me over the holidays?" I asked.

"I am unsure. All I know is that his father insisted he feed from the animals rather than from you. I argued with him over it, but he did not wish to listen. He kept arguing that the two of you were too young to start the mating process. I agree but I also argued that he wouldn't have the animals when he returned to school as the headmaster doesn't set up anything for the students that get inheritances because he despises creatures." Dad said.

"Oh. His father is under the impression that the mating process starts from the first drink. That isn't how that works. The mating process doesn't start until we have both gone through our inheritance. Besides, the mates have to accept each other and then Lady Magic has to bless them before the process begins. She normally doesn't bless anyone until they are 16. His father is clearly misinformed." I rambled off.

Dad chuckled and shook his head at my rambling.

"Saxon. I know, you don't need to tell me. It is his father that needs the mate and bonding lesson." Dad said.

"Well, he would never listen. He doesn't even listen to his own son." I said.

"Write his mother then. She seems easier to reason with." Dad said.

The train whistle blew so I gave a hug to my dad and then followed everyone else onto the train. The Prewetts led us to a compartment and we were joined by Gemma and Lee a few moments later. When they arrived, I locked the door and drew the curtains closed before quickly casting the silencing spell that Lucius had taught me.

"Saxon. What's going on?" Gemma asked.

"I have something to tell the two of you. Everyone else already knows and I would have told you sooner, but it isn't something that is safe to put in a letter." I said in response to the question.

Gemma and Lee both gave me questioning looks but waited for me to continue.

"As you know Gemma my sister was taken from us on Yule. My Father had pulled me and my brothers aside at the end of the ball and told us that we could form our own inner circles. I have one already. That is if you wish to be a part of it." I said.

Gemma agreed right away, and Lee took a couple moments but also agreed. After they had agreed I started explaining what assignment my father had set us.

"My father has assigned us our first assignment. He wants us to search the school from top to bottom for anything suspicious. For my sister. We got a tip that she was closer than we think she is, so Hogwarts became a top priority to search. He can't get in there, so he has tasked us with searching." I explained.

"How long do we have?" Gemma asked.

"Until the end of the year or as long as it takes." I replied.

"Okay. We can start tonight after the feast." Fred said.

"I don't know Fred. Tonight, might not be the best idea." I said.

"Why not. The sooner we get started the sooner we can be done." George said.

"I know that, but we don't want the Headmaster catchingon. I will call another meeting in a few days and we will start searching then...Unless... Percy would you be able to get Oliver?" I asked.
