Betty's PoV:
"Ok, spit it out" I say slightly sarcastic. The first time I've really used sarcasm for a while. If he really has cracked this case then who ever.. pushed Kevin, can get what they deserve. And maybe that doesn't bring Kevin back but it puts me at rest a little.
"You're not gonna believe this seriously. It's so stupid but.. kinda genius" Jug continues.
"Jug oh my god just tell us already." Archie says from behind me and I lightly smile as the frustration present in his voice matches mine.
"Ok fine, it.." Jug starts but stops when there's a crash from the his side of the phone.
"Jug??" I ask waiting for his response.
Archie sighs and runs his hand through his auburn hair.
"I know you like suspense Jug but this isn't funny now" he says and I hum in agreement.
A few seconds pass and all that's heard from the other side of the phone are a few dragging sounds.
"Jughead??" Betty asks, picking her phone up seeming to be alarmed now.
Veronica PoV:
I finally arrive at Archie's house. I text him as I arrive, checking my hair in the reflection on the phone. Ryan always did a good job and today was no acceptation, it was definitely worth the wait. Archie opens the door just as I walk down the drive way. I offer him a warm smile and ruffle his hair.
"I've brought a couple of my favourite movies, one being bambie, of corse. You can't beat the classics" I say heading past him into the living room.
"Roni.." Archie mutters grabbing my hand. I turn to him and notice the frown plastered on his face. That never means anything good.
"What's up Archiekins?" I ask, taking his other hand in mine and looking up at him.
"Before you got here, Jughead called. About the.. Kevin situation." Archie says and my mouth drops open slightly.
"Oh." Is all I can think of to begin with.
"Well what did he have to say?" I finally form a sentence.
"We don't know. He got.. cut off..Or something before he had the chance to tell us. There were a few faint sounds and then the phone hung up after that. I'm sure it's probably nothing but you know better with her overthinking.." he informs me.
"Betty- where is she?" I ask and he looks towards the staircase. I nod and hug him before heading upstairs.
"B? You ok?"
