Betty PoV

"So then we came to you" I sigh, sitting on Cheryl's couch. Everything that's happened took a lot longer to explain then I'd thought it would.
"I hope Jugheads okay.." Toni mutters and I stamp on any jealousy building up inside of me. He's mine, everyone knows that.

"I'm guessing they'll have tracked his phone if that's the last you heard" she looks to me pushing her hair out of her face.
"I- no- haven't actually" I say, surprising myself. Why the fuck haven't we.
"You didn't track his phone? Jesus Betty you're normally Nancy drew. Even I could've thought of that." Cheryl says picking up her glass and taking a sip.

"I-I know.. just with everything that's happened I guess I'm a bit.. off" I shrug and get up.
"We need to track his phone. Right now." I walk towards the door, not bothering to check who's following me.

With a little help from sheriff Jones we know the location of Jugs phone. Him, B , Toni, Cheryl and I are all on the trail. Huddled together like a pack of wolves. As we near the red dot on the tracker, we find ourselves in a forest. It's cold and damn with trees towering over us. A cool breeze shocks me sending all my hairs on end. In front of us stands a small wooden hut.

Fp Jones leads us to the door and opens it pointing his gun ahead quickly. We wait in suspense for a few seconds while he wonders in. A light switches on causing me to half jump.
"All clear!" A yell from inside and we head in.

My heart rate quickens at the sight of blood on the floor. My eyes follow it one way to find his phone laying helplessly on the floor, the other leads half way across the floor before stopping abruptly.

"Well he's not here.." Fp says, disappointment obvious in his voice.
"I'll call the department to investigate tomorrow, you kids better get to bed" he says heading back outside and I turn to do the same.

"V." Betty whispers harshly causing me to turn. Cheryl and toni either side of me do the same.

I stare at where the blood stops. Something doesn't feel right. It's so sudden. No drips any where else after this point. I knock my heal against the floor beneath me.
"Betty, come on we should go" Toni beckons but I ignore her and tap my heal against the floor where the track ends.
It gives a louder knocking sound, deeper this time. Hollow. I bend down quickly and immediately dig my nails by the side of the floor boards to pull them up.

Under lays a stair case. I knew it. After pulling up a few more boards I hop down, hoping the others will follow and do the same.
