Chapter 1

"My, what is one of our gems doing on a Primary Colony? let's get you back home.."

(A/N:this story is a sequel to Lapis x Fem!Reader:to feel emotions taking place years after the events in that book. The characters in this story are based off of my own designs for them. With all of this said, enjoy the story everyone :] )

"Subject #20678 . Size, little below average. Cut, not rounded to requirements. Condition, appears to be scratched up and dusty. Status, defective."

The gem is picked up. The gem is brought to a room where it is placed in a bubble which is hooked up to cords to attach it to a holographic screen next to it. This holographic screen is projecting the gems current status, form, and place of origin.

"Gem appears to originate from Primary Homeworld. May pose a threat" the gem takes down notes on a holographic diamond shaped notepad-like object. "Gem will need to be polished and cut. Gem's form will need to be changed in accordance to the proper default form." The research scientist attaches the note to the bubble before picking up the bubbled gem and taps on it, sending it to the Gem Perfecters, the boleites. The small, blue gem workers are all busy, some are helping gems that got stuck in their holes while others are fixing gems with imperfect cuts, all of their tools with aspects that match their appearances:cubes.

One of the workers picks up the bubbled gem and detaches the note to read what needs to be fixed, then pops the bubble, hooking the gem up to a table with cords so that it doesn't take form while it is being perfected. Taking out his cube handled tool, the worker begins to fix the gems imperfect roundness into a perfect round shape. The worker takes a cloth set to the side and polishes away the scratches on the gem,making it nice and smooth. "One of my finest fixes. It's a honor to have helped fix such a special gem like a Tanzanite" the Boleite admires the gem before detaching it from the hooks and bubbling it again, reattaching the note and sending it off.

The bubbled gem is now in a room where it is carried by a Purple Pearl up to one out of 4 diamonds:Purple Diamond. Purple Diamond sits on her throne, boringly staring into a mirror she is using to adjust her forms makeup and hair, a hand propping her head up while the other holds the mirror, her leg crossed over the other. She has short, pastel purple colored hair with the bangs on her right side pulled to the side and the ends of her short hair reaching just below her head by a few inches. She has the build similar to that of a holly blue agate,her eyes a enchanting color of purple. "My Diamond, the captured gem is ready for your presence" "well, that certainly took long enough" Purple Diamond rolled her eyes, sitting up and taking the bubble from her pearls hands and popping it, the gem sitting in her palm, waiting for the gem to form.

"Come now, don't be afraid. Don't you have any respect for your Diamond?" She impatiently encourages the gem to form. After a few minutes pass, the gem begins to form..
