Rayla woke up the next morning feeling more refreshed than usual. When she tried to get up, she found that she was trapped by a pair of arms belonging to a certain someone. Callum was still asleep and she tried to find a way to wriggle free but her attempts only prompted the sleeping boy to pull her closer. Rayla would be lying if she said she didn't like being in his embrace but she was hungry and her growling stomach brought Callum back to the world of the awake. When Callum awoke he saw that their faces were mere inches apart and he started blushing profusely and tried to pull away but this time, it was Rayla who pulled him closer and kissed him. "Good morning sleepy," she said.

"Good morning," Callum responded. a blush still tinted his cheeks. They got up and went into the kitchen to find Yalaxy making what seemed to be biscuits and gravy.

"Good morning you two," Yalaxy greeted them. "I see your hungry."

"How long have you been up?" Callum yawned.

"I never went to sleep dude because as I said before, we don't need to sleep," Yalaxy stated.

"They how come Callum is tired?" asked Rayla eyebrow raised.

"As the old saying goes, old habits die hard and I guess he has been sleeping since he was born," Yalaxy shrugged. "I just found out that I could stay up with no drawbacks and that's how I've been living ever since." He severed them a plate of hash browns and biscuits with sausage gravy and both had crushed red pepper in them. A/N actually try that it is really good.

"Wow, this is delicious. What is you secret?" Callum asked.

"Simple, crushed red pepper. Trust me, it works wonders," Yalaxy responded.

As they we talking and eating breakfast, Callum and Yalaxy suddenly got a strange premonition and they heard the door unlock. "GET DOWN NOW," Yalaxy yelled as five men burst through the door. They fired tranquilizers immediately at them all and they struck faster than they could react. However, given their powers, Callum and Yalaxy were slightly more resilient.

"DAMMIT," Callum yelled as he feel to his knees. Rayla lay passed out a few feet away. It was here that Yalaxy made a decision. He grabbed Callum and started to activate his hidden ability.

"Kamui," Yalaxy said as he grabbed Callum and they were sucked into a pocket of space unique to Yalaxy's ability. They both were delirious at this point and they both collapsed.

After 15 minutes they awoke. "Where are we and what happened to Rayla?" Callum asked frantically.

"She was taken and we barely escaped ourselves," Yalaxy responded. "It is all thanks to my Kamui." "It allows me to move into a timespace with anything I am currently touching."

"Why did you abandon her?" Callum practically screamed at him.

"You don't get it do you?" "If they'd gotten us then it would have been over," Yalaxy said surprisingly calm. "They are going to try and figure out what went wrong with the DNA implication with her and what they don't know is that it won't work." "Were they to get us, they could eventually find a way to recreate our powers which will then be auctioned off to the highest bidder."

"No, you don't get it, I promised to protect her and now my best friend, the girl I love is gone," Callum screamed as a tear slid down is face.

"We can get her back," Yalaxy said trying to reassure him. "I have been planning something for awhile now and I thing it is time we implemented it." "We are going to break into that last hideout, rescue Rayla and then burn that place to the ground." Yalaxy said.

"When do we start?" Callum asked as a new determination filled him.

"Right now," Yalaxy responded. "Kamui," he said as they both were transported back to their world. Yalaxy's apartment looked a lot more trashed now and Rayla was nowhere to be found. He went into his room and pressed a section of the wall. Out of it popped two white cloaks, two swords that seemed to be made out of a special metal, a spear made out of the same metal and a small device that seemed to have radar tracking. "The cloak is bullet proof and the metal that these are made out of will not break," Yalaxy explained. "Take the spear and try it out." Callum took the spear and swung it around. It felt natural and balanced in Callum's hands. Yalaxy grabbed the two swords and pistol that was also in there and he got another one and handed it to Callum.
