Aah... this feels like the calm before the storm...

Have you ever been playing outside with your friends, throwing ball or playing tag when suddenly everything goes quiet, the air seems still and calm, the birds stop chirping and go back to their nests. And then, few minutes later, you see a line of mean looking clouds appearing on the horizon, before the rain starts heavily pouring down? Everyone probably experienced that at least once in their life. And Joshua was no exception.

He knew this phenomenon way too well.  Not the one where the warm, moist air is pulled in the storm system to fuel the thunderclouds, no. But the one where he gets bothered by a very angry Jeonghan, and after what happened few hours ago, he knew it was gonna be a very big storm.

Joshua shifted on his seat, in attempt to make himself more comfortable and tried to enjoy the last moments of peace.

"HONG JOSHUA THE THIRD!" The door to Joshua's room/office flew open with a bang, and a fuming Jeonghan strode over to him.

Aaand here we go...

"Look at what your human did to mine! They're both cats now. He just doubled the trouble for us! What are we gonna do now?" He breathlessly rambled, pacing back and forth around the room.

Joshua massaged his temples and looked at his friend, "Jeong, you know you have no right to be mad, right?" He put the thick book he was reading before being disturbed on the desk, And shifted his attention back to the long haired male, "You started this by turning my human into a cat first."

"Well, yes, but like he didn't have to make it worse." Jeonghan defeatedly slumped in the couch.

"What's done is done, Jeonghan. We can't change the past but the future is ours to make. So get your ass over here, and help me find an antidote." He tried cheering him up.

The last thing Joshua needed, on top of finding a solution to the cat shifting problem, was babysitting a very emotional angel, as Jeonghan tended to get very moody whenever things didn't go his way, and a moody Jeonghan = more bad decisions. Joshua knew how much more damage that would do to their humans if his companion was in that state, and he did not have the time nor the energy for that. He needed to stop it before it even started.

"Are you coming or not?" He called him again, "I think I found something in here."

Everything seemed much bigger from this angle. The plasma TV you once thought was a little too small for your living room seemed like a cinema screen. The couch looked like it had tripled in size. It's true that you always wanted to have a life size cup of coffee for days like this, but seeing it now on the table, it sure was scary. Everything looked unfamiliar and big in your own apartment, and you didn't know the reason for that nor how to feel about it.

"Um... I think something went wrong somewhere."

Your head whipped to the owner of the voice, the very familiar voice, the voice that gave you nightmares during all these years. That very specific voice you hated with ever fiber of your body, the voice that belonged to your biggest rival. Mingyu's voice. Except Mingyu wasn't here, there's no way he would be here, he's supposed to be getting treated in the US.  Was your mind playing tricks on you? Were you so sleep deprived that you started imagining his voice in your head? And even worse, did Minty just talk?

"Oopsie??" Mingyu guiltily utterd, he was internally panicking seeing that you were staring at him for a bit too long now and he had absolutely no idea what to do. Not only his only plan failed, but he dragged you in this mess too. I am soooo dead now.. how do I explain it to her?
