Amelia POV

The old car pulls up at our family house. I still remember this place. It was a three story building and was colored in red. The house wasn't that modest, but was a scene to me. I loved this place. The moment I looked at the house, memories of my whole life came back to me

In front of all the three balconies were molded flower ports which contained growing flowers. The rainy season was approaching and the dying plants started coming back to life. Their life cycle has started. Flowering had taken place. The other cycles were on their way.

Levi quickly got out of the car and quickly crossed to my side to open the door for me, but I beat him to it. I got out of the car and closed it before he got there. I don't know why he was acting like a gentleman, but I was curious to find out.

"Why are you acting gentle all of a sudden? I am not used to this side of you. There is always a mystery behind it". I looked to face him. He had a proud smile written on his face. What was he proud of though?

"You will find out soon. I am just very happy for you. I am also happy this is happening, though it is happening later than I thought. Either way, we will all be happy." He said. A wide smile crossed his features. He like every other brother of mine was good looking. Well, not enough to attract me, but to attract other girls. He had this chiseled jaw line. He had small eyes and his irises were just as small as his eyes. His irises was a very light brown color and his nose was pointed like my mothers. He towered over me like all my brothers. They were all tall, but he was taller. I was tall, but when it came to him, I was always short.

I was tall enough to be flaunting my body on the runway. Tall enough to become one of Victoria Secret models and beautiful enough to land a vogue cove, but when it came to my brothers, I always questioned my 5'10 height. He gestured with his head for me to follow him inside. What I saw the moment I got in was unexpected. The interior was decorated with flowers. I quickly removed my shoes and jacket and went inside to get a better view of the decorated house. The living room was also decorated with flowers. There were a lot of decors here and the sofas and couches were different from the ones I have grown up on. The TV was slightly bigger and it had Samsung written on it. Products from that band were very expensive. Who were they trying to impress with these brand new things.

"I will get your bags from the car. Don't worry about them". Levi said and went out of the house. Just when I was about to leave the leaving room to go upstairs, I felt a hand on my shoulders. I turned and saw my mothers hand on them. I quickly wrapped my arm around her and embrace her in a tight hug. She returned it and hug me back. It was these times that I felt like crying. We pulled out of the hug. She held my chin in one hand and cleaned a tear I don't remember shedding with the other.

" I missed you",I said. I wanted to sob in her hands right now. I don't how many days I have been counting to meet this face again. She opened he hands for another hug and I gently wrapped my arms around her again, this time, the tears came out on my own plea and I began sobbing into her shoulder. I really missed her. We pulled away she someone cleared his throat. It was totally a male. I knew that male. It was my father. I turned around to look at him. He had changed drastically from the last time we met. His face had become wrinkled and his cheeks and become so lean. I don't even think there was any flesh on them. His bald hair also didn't go unnoticed. He looked like he was in his 70s but her was only 65. The cancer had really taking a toll on him. He was one of the reasons I went to worship God in church every Sunday. I didn't want him to die yet. I wanted him to live to see his grandchildren. He was a a had some brown skinned man in his youthful ages. That picture was one of the many we had, pinned on the walls in our small but large living room. He was recovering though and he was in safe hands.
