Chapter 4- What happened?

Third Person Pov

Liah was in amnesia while the operation was going on. Xavier brought Liah to a small nusery hospital, where there was only nurse training. A nurse came out of the room , "Excuse me , is she okay ?" Xavier asked. "She's perfectly fine,now she's sleeping , once she wakes up you can take her home and make she she drinks a lot of fluids," Nurse said with a sweet smile. " Thank you so much," Xavier said and gave her a dollar for tip but the nurse sweetly refuses and said , "Just make sure your wife drinks alot of water and takes her medicine on time," The nurse smiled and left the hallway into another room. Xavier smiled when he heard the nurse said "wife".. then he thought to himself.. I was she was my wife..Wait, did Li heard what i told her before? If she did , she will be really angry.. I need to make sure she doesn't remeber what i said , hopefully she didnt remember we kissed. She loves someone else and I have to let her with him... She deserves better. Xavier called Li's mom and said not to worry. He felt bad that he had to lie to her mom because he knows Liah will be punished. "Dont worry, we are going to be home late, my car tires punctured , so I am at the mechanics, " Xavier swallowed in guiltiness. "Well okay hurry fast, I am missing my sweetie , can I talk to her?" Liah's mother asked. Xavier stood shaking. "Well Mrs.Husain um Liah's is in the drugstore, she was complaining she has cramps, I cant possibly disturb her or else she will be possesed," Xavier gave a fake laugh , " Ahaha well okay , you guys be safe but please hurry back , it is passed her curfew and she has school tomorrow , same thing with you please hurry alright be safe," after that she hanged up. Xavier looked at the digital clock beside him and it said 3:08. Xavier felt bad that Liah's mother trusted him so badly. She knows he cant do anything to Liah, she truly loves Xavier as her own, that is why she let Liah excused. After 20 minutes , the nurse came out and said "Your wife is up now, you can check up on her then sign this document that says that you are allow to take her home," Nurse said. "Thank you so much !" Xavier said in a cheer. He walked into the room and saw Liah staring at the ceiling in confusion, then she looked at Xavier and started to beam. "XAVIER ! What happened? Why am I here? I got to go home my mom is worried please let's go please," Liah begged. Xavier walked up to her and sat down. "You were here because umm.." he had to think fast so the she wont remember , "You were here because you told me at the party you werent feeling good and then you suddenly fainted, so I brought you here, and speaking about your mother , I didnt want her to worry so I told her your own your way but then the tires are punctured so it will be late, I am sorry but I dont want her to worry or anything please understand I am doing this for you to not be in trouble ," Xavier said, and he still swallowed in gultiness. Liah still didnt look satisfied.. as if she didn't believe Xavier, 'Are you sure? I feel that there's something missing," Liah said. "Yes I am sure , don't you trust me?" then liah stared at Xavier's hazel eyes, "fine I do , only because i trust you and I know you will never lie," then she hugged xavier tightly. "awwwww," said the nurses in the back. Xavier and Liah looked at them with straight face then the nurses looked down and went out the door then started to giggle. "ahaha they thought we were a couple\, so i went with the flow," Xavier said with a wink , Liah gasped and slapped Xavier on the shoulder, "I am only 19 you dummy, to young for you," then Xavier made a straight face and he said "How the fuck is that young for me? I am 19 as well , I am just one month older. HAH!" then liah made the annoyed face and slapped Xavier on the othe shoulder.

" Alright let's go home , your mom will then worry," Xavier said as he gave Liah her clothes , "hurry and change I'll sign the document and come back ," "okayyyy," liah said and rushed to the bathroom. After three min, Liah was ready and the two friends left the hospital and into the car. Yet one thing bothered Xavier.. hopefully she wont remember , he thought , then smiled at Liah and started the car.
