Chapter 3

Blaire's POV

"Blaire!" Tita Alisha exclaimed upon seeing me went inside the house. I nodded my head and gave her a smile.

"You're here Blaire." Mom as I watched her preparing the table.

Based on the foods, I know they ordered it since it would be impossible for them to prepare these foods that immediately.

"Call Ariel to get down so we could eat." I nodded to her before I went up heading the room.

"How many times do I have to tell you? It would never be good to kids like you stay longer in gadgets, Ariel." As I went inside the room and seeing her fully focused on her tablet.

Kinuha naman nito ang earphone niya bago umayos ng upo. I'm not that strict when it comes to her using phone or any gadgets but as long as she wouldn't take any longer of using it.

Hindi maganda sa bata ang magbabad ng matagal sa gadget at naiitindihan niya yun since lagi ko itong pinapaalala sa kanya.

"I'm sorry Ate. I won't do it again nextime just don't get mad at me please." She sincerely whispered it. Nakatingin lang ito sa kamay niyang nilalaro ang kumot.

She's always like that everytime na pinagsasabihan ko siya but I'm not mad sa tuwing ginagawa ko yun. Hindi ko naman kasi kailangang magalit sa kanya para sundin lang ako.

Ariel is a smart kid. I don't need to use force for her to follow. Naiitindihan niya agad ang punto ko. I'm only doing this for her.

I sighed before I sat next to her. I took her hand causing for her to look at me in the eyes.

"I'm not mad and I couldn't be mad at you Ariel. I know you understand why I'm doing this to you. I'm your ate, concern lang ako sayo dahil mahal kita." Huminga siya ng malalim bago ko nakita ang pagbalik ng saya sa mukha niya. I almost out of my balance ng bigla niya akong dambahin ng yakap.

"I love you." As she free herself from hugging me and smiled while saying those three words for me. 

"I am too, so let's go downstairs. Mom and Tita Alicia are waiting for us." She fixed the bed first before letting me held her hand at iginaya pababa.

As Tita Alicia and mom heard our footsteps pababa, they both gave us a warm smile. Dumako naman ang tingin ko sa lamesa at nakikitang nakahanda na nga ang lahat.

Umupo si Ariel sa left side ni mom habang ako nasa right side nito. I helped them preparing the plates and utensils. Nalalaway na ako sa mga seafoods na nasa harapan ko, most especially the reddish big lobsters.

I took out my phone at pinicturan ang mga masasarap na pagkaing nasa harapan ko so I could post them in my instagram account. I took a pictures of them too for my story before I hide my phone.

"I'm sorry mom if I took so long."

Our gaze turned to a petite lady wearing a mustard sleeveless beach dress. She has that inverted triangle face shaped and color light blue eyes.

Hindi ko maalis ang tingin ko sa mga mata niya dahil naalala ko bigla ang matang natitigan ko kanina lang. Though, her eyes weren't that blue unlike the guy I've met a while ago.

"It's alright Sophia. We're just starting. Where's Annika?" I glance at tita Alicia. So this petite lady is her daughter.

"I'M HERE!" Bumaling ang tingin ko sa isang masiglang tinig na pumasok.

A young girl wearing a peach beach dress and paired it with a pearl pussycat. The color of their eyes looked the same. She has also an inverted triangle shape. Mahaba ang buhok into hanggang beywang. They were siblings, I guess.
