Chapter 8

Blaire's POV

Time indeed flies so fast. Without even counting, it's been three weeks since my stay here at Hudson's Townhouse and Beach Resort.

Sa loob ng tatlong linggo na iyon I did enjoy here especially everyday jamming with Sophia that's why I didn't get bored even a day while I'm here.

I opened my social media account and my messenger to check some messages and emails. Our group chat just talking about the flow of enrollment at susunod na linggo na yun.

I need to go back the day after tomorrow to fix my requirements and buy new things for school. Siguro mananatili sina mom and dad dito together with Ariel since it was obvious on their faces how they really enjoyed being here.

Suddenly, a chat head from Liera appeared on the top of my screen so I immediately tapped it to read.

From: Liera Nicole Martin
When will you coming back?

As I read, I type 'the day after tomorrow' and send it to her. After a minutes she's already typing her reply so I just waited her before turning my phone off.

From: Liera Nicole Martin
Okay, I'll wait you. Sabay tayo magenroll.

I typed 'Copy, wait me.' and send it to her. After it was sent, I turned my phone off and plugged the charger before heading downstairs for a breakfast.

"Come on Blaire, just sit and let's eat our breakfast now." My mom uttered as she put the bacon on the plate.

"Good morning!" As I greeted everyone at the table.

Dad looked at me and nod his head before returning his gaze at the newspaper he's currently reading.

He's always like that in the morning. Tuwing naabutan ko siyang kumakain ng breakfast, lagi siyang nagbabasa ng newspaper. Mom was already used to his habit every morning.

Kahit ganito na hindi kumikibo si daddy but sometimes I caught him being sweet to mom na hindi ko inaasahang may ganun siyang side.

Though he's always put some expectations towards me still I could feel his love as a father for us, Ariel and I. I sat beside Ariel, she kissed my cheek and greeted me a good morning. I did that same to her too.

I put bacon and egg to my plate. Nagsalin na din ako ng freshmilk sa dalawang baso. Ariel loves to drink fresh milk like me.

"Babalik ka daw sa city the day after tomorrow Blaire?" Dad said as he folded the newspaper.

"Yes po dad. I need to prepare everything for my enrollment. Ipapaenroll ko na din po si Ariel." My answer and he gave me his simple smile while nodded.

"Alright, I'll send money to your  account so you can spend it for your school stuffs. Buy Ariel too." I nodded upon hearing it from him.

Our breakfast went good as always. They discussed about some aquatic activities they would perform later with the Hudson. Matiyaga lang akong nakikinig habang bakas ang saya at pananabik kay mommy.

Mabuti na din para maglibang si dad at hindi puro trabaho ang iniisip. This what I liked during summer vacation, ito lang yung pagkakataon kong makitang nageenjoy si dad.

Iba siya pagfamily vacation at iba din siya pagnakasuot na ng puting uniporme. I helped Ariel to pick a swimwear to wear. I put some sunblock all over her body before I went inside the bathroom to change clothes.

I chose the black onepiece sleeveless swimwear with a little purple line at the side. It has a zipper in a chest part kaya hindi siya mahirap suotin. I just paired it with my maong short and didn't forget to put sunblock before heading toward the sea with Ariel.
