Chapter 4: The wall

Y/N PoV

Commander Pixis was shouting at us about Eren blocking the wall with a boulder, I thought it was absurd. But it might be possible. We got into our squad, we had to protect Eren from the other titans.

ROARRRRRRRRR

I hear Eren, he looks around and spots Mikasa and her team, suddenly he tries to punch her but she blocks him, I'm shock 'the fuck' I look around if anyone saw that, Mikasa, jumps on Eren's face telling him to snap out of it, but he doesn't stop he punches her but luckily she got off

"Great, he knocked himself out" I snicker, they all glare at me, and I side look at them "come on, let's leave and wait for him to wake up, these titans aren't gonna kill themselves" I tell them

"when did you start giving out orders?" I hear Rico tell me, shooting a red flare in the sky. I ignore her and start to kill titans.

I see Armin talking to Mikasa, "Mikasa, leave Armin, he's got this. Let's protect Eren" I shout at her, she looks at me then armin, who just nods.

She turns to me and we fly off together killing and protecting Eren and Armin as he tries to wake up Eren. After sometime we hear another roar Mikasa leaves me, maybe to go find Armin and Eren.

I zoom over there and see Titan Eren holding a boulder, titans all walk to him, completely ignoring us, some walking on foot trying to get their attention while others kill them. Soon the boulder connects with the broken wall and Eren give a roar.

He slumps down and he pops out of his nape again, Armin rushes to him but fails to notice two titans coming their way, In a flash I see a person killing the two titans, landing on its head.

it's Humanity's stronger soldier.

Immediately I find Annie and the others "Guys! You ok?" I see Annie she nods. We kill the remaining titans. I volunteered to help them with the bodies. Annie, Reiner and Bertholdt help as well.

We pass by this one body. He only has one half of him "I'm sorry" Annie whispers, only audible for me and Reiner to hear "it's not use in apologising, we need to hurry and give them a funeral" Reiner tells her 'so she killed Marco? Why.' I wonder and help with the remaining bodies.

Here we are, in court, I watch as Eren is kneeling down with chains on, I notice the higher ups, wall priest, merchants and cadets everywhere. "Shall we begin" I hear Zachary say. "You are Eren Yeager, a soldier who has sworn to give his life for the people, isn't that correct?" He asks Eren, "yes" Eren says, he looks confused.

I sigh and keep listening them I hear the military's say in this "I, Nile Dawk, commander of the military police, offer the following proposal. We believe that, after a thorough examination on Eren's body he should be disposed of immediately" I glare at him, 'if you guys don't want him I'm taking him then' Nile noticed my glare and looks away.

"Let's hear from the scout Regiment" Zachary says "sir, I, Erwin Smith, 13th commander of the Scout Regiment offer the following proposal. We intend to accept Eren as an official member of the Scout Regiment and utilise his Titan ability to retake wall Maria, that is all" I stare and him wide eye 'no you won't eyebrows' i glare at him, and see Captain Levi glaring at me, I raise an eyebrow at him then look away towards Eren.

Erwin kept explaining until I heard one of the merchants speak up "wait a minute! shouldn't we be sealing all the gates now? The gates are the only part the colossal Titan can break! If we reinforce them we'll never get attacked again!" I roll my eyes at him and sigh "when can I leave" I mutter. Their constant bickering was stopped by Levi "You have a big mouth on you, swine. How can you be sure that the Titan will wait while we reinforce the gates and when you say "we" you mean the friends you're protecting so you can fatten yourselves up.

Are you pigs blind to the people who struggle to live off of the little land that is left." They answer back but Zachary stops them "Order, I ask that you save your proposal sentiments for another venue. I wish to make a certain something, Mr Yeager. As a soldier can you continue to serve humanity by controlling your Titan ability?" He ask "yes sir, I can!" Eren shouts

"really? But it says here in the report on the Trost battle that, just after transforming you swung your fist at Mikasa Ackerman." Zachary state, Eren gasps and looks at Mikasa who tried to hide her face.

I look at her and smirk 'great job Rico' "who is Mikasa Ackerman?" "I am, sir" she says "you? Is it true that Yeager, in Titan form attacked you?" He asks, she thinks for a while, I kick her back lightly and she looks at me, I nod at her. "Yes it's true" gasps and mumbled whispers were heard.

"However, he also saved my life on two prior occasions while in Titan form. The first time, just as I was about to fall into the hand of a Titan, he intervened and protected me. The second time he protected me and Armin from a bombardment. I ask you take these into consideration as well" she add

"wait a minute!" Nile Dawk says, as he tells everyone about Mikasas past with Eren 'this is great, Finally some information' I smile, suddenly they assume she is also a Titan, wanting to dissect her,

"No!" Eren shouts. The room goes quiet as he speaks again "it's not like that, but all your speculations to push your own selfish agendas! In fact.... none of you have even seen a Titan, so why are you so afraid" he stops for a while "what's the use of having power if you're not going to fight? If you're afraid of fighting for your lives, then help me! You cowards!" He shouts,

"what?" Someone whispers "Just shut up and place everything on me!" He continues to ramble on. "What are you waiting for? Aim!" Nile shouts. They aim and we all gasp. We hear something fall, I see a tooth?

"My personal belief is that pain is the best tool for teaching discipline. What you need now is to be taught a lesson, not to be given a talking-to and you happen to be in a perfect kicking position" Levi tells everyone.

Mikasa looks angry, Armin and I hold her back "it's no use to intervene Mikasa" I whisper to her, she glares at me and I glare back.

"Wait, Levi, thats dangerous what if he gets mad and turns into a Titan" Nile explains. Levi continues to kick eren, the stops "don't be silly. You guys wanted to dissect him, right? When he transformed, he apparently managed to kill 20 titans before running out of strength. As an enemy his intelligence makes him all the more dangerous. Even so, I could handle him just fine. But could you? Whoever dares torment him better think long and hard. Can you actually kill him?" Levi says

"Sir, I have a preposition, Eren's Titan abilities include too many uncertainties, which pose a ever-present danger, we will place Eren under Captain Levi's supervision and conduct a recon mission outside the wall. His existence is beneficial to humanity" Erwin tells Zachary

"I've made my decision"
