I open my eyes and I am blinded by a bright light, but as my eyes start to adjust I see that I am in some sort of elevator. When I looknup I see a large group of about forty or so boys looking down on me.
"Hey guys Its a girl" A dirty blonde boy about 16 years old drops down on a rope and just stares at me for a few seconds.
"Hey I know your scared but can you tell me your name." He asks me while walking towards me. I think about it for a few seconds ,
"Alison. My name is Alison."
"Well Alison I'm Newt and can you please corporate so that this can be easy"he says and I nod a yes to him.
Newt leads me over to a ladder and points up motioning for me to climb. When I get to the top an african american guy helps me out then turns and says "Im Alby and welcome to the glade. I know this is a lot to take in but you'll get used to of sooner or later. When Newt get out I'll have him give you the tour." Newt comes from behind me and very harshly says
"Come on lets go." I follow behind him as he starts talking about the section we are in
"This is the dead heads and its where the dead bare buried as you can tell...." He keeps talking but my mind wanders of to other things like how beautiful his eyes are and also how adorable his acent is.
My thoughts are interrupted when he stops and I am knocked to the ground with Newt sprawled on top of me.
Newt turns over still on me and looks into my eyes and yells
" God Greenie you otta be more carful if your gonna survive in the glade you gotta be more careful expecially since youre a girl. I swear your heads full of klunk." I have tears swelling up in my eyes and Im trying not to let them break through but they do and Newt sees. " Im sorry greenbean, I guess Im just tense with everything going on. I didnt mean anything I said. " and he brushes away my tears. "come on let's go get something to eat" and he puts his arm around me.
